Lake Wine had about 6 left this afternoon ($8.99, in the cooler) Super good (far better than Wet IMO) picked up 2 more after my initial bottle , the Red Hop also has a really nice hop profile , citra, mosaic, and simcoe haven't had it yet however.

I had just raved about this beer to Paul at Lake and Wine, so better hope he doesn't save it all for himself !

 

that mgm is pretty well known for their 'convenience fee' if you want to put it that way.

Coming up to MN for the weekend from KC for Chiefs v Vikes. Staying near Mall of America. What are a couple good bottle shops near there?

 

Cellars Eagan and Blue Max are both just down the freeway from MOA about 10 min. or less.

 

Blue Max to the south in Burnsville, Lyndale Liquors to the NW of there in Minneapolis

 

FYI Blue Max is closer to 20 from the mall. Google says 17. Worth the trip though

Thanks for the info... I see that Surly Wet is in the wild along with TG. Not holding my breath that either will be around come Friday. Anything MN only out on distro? Just from scrolling old posts Steel Toe might brew some good stuff, anything else worth while?

 

TGB should be able to find not sure on Wet though most places sold out of it. I have seen plenty of TGB in the last week still.

 

South Lyndale is 15 mins away in south Minneapolis but I would check out Sids Discount off of 494 and lyndale Ave. Don't let the name fool you, great selection and fair prices.

If you can find it, shouldn't be too hard. Steel Toe Lunker is a great BA barleywine. Their other offerings are solid. Also keep an eye out for Indeed Rum King.

 

Westside Liqour in Albertville has at least 5 Rum Kings left, $15.99. 10% discount on Wednesdays.

 

At least you didn't buy it at the actual brewery! It was more!

 

Very close to the price but a little < + tax at Indeed release for Rum King for sat/sun sales of the 600 bottles per day

 

Founder harvest, central waters bb scotch, hefewheaties, black butte 27 ($17) at surdyks. No more bells 30th.
