He didn't make any predictions about when we'd see it, he just said we'd see it. He's usually very accurate and realistic about what he's going to get and what he just can't get. Hopefully it gets here within a reasonable time frame.

Yeah I agree with you on that one. I guess I am just.....bitter. I used to like 20 mins from Stone so I still always expect to see releases instantly although I need to get used to the reality.

    Looking
Don't get me started on that. Ruination 10th landed in Philly last Wednesday. It was released June 11th. Granted, we very likely didn't get the first shipment sent our way, but I'm still very angry with the local importer sitting on it for as long as they did. It was in NJ for over a month before we got it. If they pull the same shit with this one, we'll literally get it one week before it expires.

It came and went, only two bevmos got it and the Total Wines got shorted to a case or two each. I think there were about 12-14 cases for the whole area. It was here and gone within a week. And Sacto isn't tiered high enough to get their 12 oz limited releases so if you're waiting for their special release smoked porters you'll never see them on a shelf in Sac

I'm a long time supporter of Bevmo.I have an old green card from when they first started the cards. So let's just say I'm a little bit disappointed when I can't find some "better" items than I would find in a "bottle shop" or liquor store.Along with that are better prices.I like to drink good beer and tequila. So when I hear these political excuses about why something isn't on the shelf it really just disappoints me.That's all.

And no I'm not still waiting to see any Ruination 10th.Or that call I was supposed to get from the Natomas store when they get Dorado.I think it was about 6-8 weeks ago.

If it makes you feel better the North Bay didn't get any Ruination 10th at all.

Total Wine in Roseville sold out within a day or so.. I called multiple days and they kept telling me it hadn't come in yet. So I decide to swing by the store, and low and behold its in the back room and only ONE left!. Lesson learned, dont ask non beer people about beer, call the beer guy directly.

Hunterdon has a press release, reprinted on BeerPulse this morning, that seems to claim that those are the ONLY 3 markets that will see the release.

Bummer, but hats off to Stone by trying to raise the awareness of importance of getting fresh beer to the market as soon as possible and getting old beer off the shelf. Awesome brewery.

If they're going for freshness, why would they ship to Chicago and NJ but not Northern Cali? Stupid decision is stupid.

Ruination 10th was great, a true DIPA. Wish it would replace Ruination which is a 1.5X IPA at best.

Looks like Hunterdon has included a list of places getting allocations...they are saying it is being bottled on Friday 8/17 and should be on the shelves by next week.
