let's not. I don't even want to include PA, sorry, but NYC is separate, as is NJ. this thread will be impossible to find anything in

Wow I didn't know it was still hanging around. All of our 2014 bottles are gone by now - do you mind naming the spot, or maybe shooting me a BM? TIA.

Also I seem to be in the distinct minority but I am a BW fanatic in general and drank the crap out of BCBW. Can always use more, I would imagine those bottles will be tasty for the next decade or so.

Ha! It may just be you and me, but I agree. I have actually chosen BW over coffee before when you could only pick one.

Glad I stocked up on the 2013 BW, as it is drinking like a champ right now. My regular guy will save me some this year (he better) so I may be at Cable or Top Hops this year.

And to whomever said it must be nice not to work, yes, I gotta agree, after working avg. 50+ hours a week for last 40+ years it is nice to be semi retired, and able to hit weekday releases.

I'm going to be in Yonkers, NY for Thanksgiving. Is there a bottle shop in that area that will get BCBS and variants or will I have to make the trek into the city to hit up top hops?

Heard of a place in NJ that did something similar when it got in KBS - forced people to buy a 4 pack of the regular Breakfast Stout if you wanted KBS. Some people flipped out about it (myself included at the time), but at least I thought then (and still do now) that I'd have a MUCH easier time rationalizing also shelling out for BS with KBS as opposed to the other GI stuff. I generally don't like that approach but like it's been stated, I understand why stores feel compelled to do it.

I have not seen these offerings in the NY Capital District area. Is there a beer bar (Albany) or a distributor where you've seen any of their offerings? Never tried any of their heralded and hyped stouts. I'd love to give them a try. Especially during the upcoming winter moths. I'm not into Winter Warmers, Octoberfest, etc. If there are sightings of their beers (or similar) where can I purchase?

It gets released once a year, on Black Friday. Wait until then, then try to get it.

Yup when I saw 1 case two years ago it looked like the store had also purchased a pallet of goose IPA that was months old. Not to mention others are forced to buy the sisters like you mentioned.

Does anyone know the suggested retail price on all of the bottles? I've read that regular is $9.99 and rare is $60, how about the others?

Definitely "too much for a half-liter bottle" is the estimate in my head. But I will likely consider it regardless.

Given my avatar, you can trust I'll hand them my debit card and try my best not to look at the total.

Looks like the line up I planned for when I finished grad school, minus the prop/BourbCo glass and add a 2009 BourbCo. I still haven't carried out the plan.

'09 is the bottle cut off just to the left of the 2010 vanilla. It was a blast, we had five of us. I'd recommend at least that many
