The minimum can order for customized cans like that is in the tens of thousands so they have to buy in bulk

If I'm only buying cans, no growler fills, do I get in/out faster? Or is it just everyone's in the same line regardless?

There is a separate lines for cans. If you go after opening, you're in and out with cans in minutes.

If you are there at or before opening you are in the line for cans. You will be given a slip for growler fills if you want growlers. If you show up after opening and just want cans they may or may not be a can line but it will move.

Thanks, never been there before. Trying to get an idea of how it goes. Can't wait to see this 4th canning line. Hoping Julius since it's sort of their flagship but they seem to only make amazing beer so whatever it is I'll buy it.

That's What She Said was on for fills tonight so maybe that will be the last can run for the week.

I believe TWSS was just an extra keg they have from the last release, not a new batch

This batch of Green seems particularly delicious to me. Thanks Nate&Co

Was there today at 4:45, out at 5:30 with cans only. 100+ in front of me at least. Great experience, great staff, etc. Drinking a can of Green right now and it's excellent. I will be back!

Yeah, I seemed to be in the minority with 12 cans of Ma. It's so great that they're churning out so many cans that you can mix n match as you wish. I walked away with 12 Ma, 6 Green, & 6 Lights On. I'm bummed I missed Haze & Julius for growlers, but I think I'll cope. I literally cannot fit another Tree House can in my beer fridge.

Bastid! Two weeks ago I did a 15 hour drive from NC to get there and was only allowed a total of 12 beers (8 - C22's & 4 - Alter Ego's). Heck... it could have been alot worse. I made the drive up on a Wednesday when Wednesday's, at the time, were still iffy in terms of can sales. So I didn't even know if I would have a chance of getting anything. Then the wife calls me about 1/2 way into the drive and says... their website says they are open but it looks like you are limited to 4 cans of Alter Ego only. Fortunately they came through with an 8 can PP allocation later in the day so the day got progressively better. Oh well. A little less than a beer per hour of driving... but as you all know the beer sure is phenomenal. Waiting on the Holidays now when a return trip back up to see family will be in order.

You drove 30 hrs. round trip for a twelve-pack of beer? Damn man, hit the trading forum! No shortage of stuff from NC people will trade TH for.

    This
And I was wavering back and forth on driving out from Boston for 18 beers! Well worth it.

Not quite that nuts. Just yet anyway. My niece was getting married that weekend so I had to go up to Mass anyway. This is where you might think I am a bit of a loon though as the original plan was for the wife and I to fly up (she stuck with that plan) but I changed plans on my end and, instead, loaded up the car with the dog and some coolers and opted to drive up. I figured I need to be up in New England anyway, so I might as well come back with (arguably) some of the best beer on the planet. Success overall in that regard but the only shot I had at swinging by TH was on Wednesday as I was passing by on the way to pick the wife up at Logan.

Hope you stopped by Trillium too! Neck and neck with Tree House for the best brewery in the state.

I literally burned up the Mass Pike (what else are rental cars good for?) after leaving TH in an attempt to get to Trillium before they closed at 7. Had 15 minutes to spare but I was driving around the neighborhood when it was dark and: (i) I couldn't see where their building was and (ii) you all know about the parking situation... so I bailed on the idea and then proceeded to Logan. Trust me, nobody should be feeling any sympathy for me as we were able to be somewhat successful in terms of the beer quest and the following is now safe and sound in my garage fridge here in Chapel Hill (need to install a damn alarm on it now).

I dont see any Julius there. I would go 2:2 or even 1:1 for that C22. I missed that weekend.

And to think, I had myself absolutely convinced that TH was getting ready to not only make Wednesday's can distribution a weekly event (it was still a sketchy proposition on the Wednesday - 9/30 - when I left) and that they were going to have Julius on as I was swinging on by. After all, for the last 2 plus months I was watching the TH monthly threads on this forum as well as TH's twitter and website for updates and was plotting what seemed to be a fairly consistent Julius release pattern (i.e., roughly every 2 - 3 weeks). No such luck on that Wednesday though so the quest to obtain some must go on. HOWEVER, in my opinion, both the TH beers that I was fortunate enough to lay my hands on and try, in their own way, stand up to or exceed anyone of those beers pictured in that fridge.

IMO, C22 & Alter Ego are better than Julius anyway.
