    Oddly enough, I'm just not excited about Octoberfest beers this year. Odd, because they've been a big thing for me the last couple of years. I did have a great one at Royal Bavaria last week, and will assuredly have at least a few from Marshall and COOP, but I'm not excited that it's Octoberfest time.

    Not sure where to jump in on this, but thought I'd finally show my face here. Looking through the posts I know most of you already and for those of you I don't know, hi I'm Ben. And yes I have beer problem, it's not quite sucking dick for coke, but it is what it is.

    But it is barrel aged, pretty sure it was the JD barrels the stout was in. I argued that we say barrel aged for the same reason. It was too late...

    I hope it is not in the least sour. That style has never appealed to me and I was so looking forward to the Wheat Wine.
