Anyone going to be at the brewery right before 6? I'm thinking about going down but wouldn't be there until 630 or so and would love a growler fill of it. Let me know if we can work something out I'll pay you cash when I get down there.

 

Just got back from the brewery. Got two pints of Double Nelson and two growler fills to drink with some friends who are in from out of town.

Best Alpine beer to date. Absolutely fantastic.

Didn't get any growler fills at 4pm Saturday but it was available at the brewpub for on premises consumption. I ended up with two pours of this stuff. I used to say Nelson was my favorite IPA of any kind but the top slot is now reserved for Double Nelson. Incredible stuff! Still thinking about those pours...

 

I really hope they start making this regularly. If it were on at Toronado with any frequency I'd be going there a lot more often. Damn good beer.

 

At Toronado SD yesterday the bartender told me they have a few kegs of it on site and will be tapping it this week.
