I was able to easily pick up a couple of wants and had a few things that I thought you would really appreciate, plus it's a ninja thank you for coming out of the closet and rooting for the Mets in the playoffs

 

Florida is sooo NOT out of beer. I received a box from the locals reverse survivor BIF. @Weissie is a frickin magician. I saw the box and I was happy it wasn't some huge porch destruction. Then I picked it up!



All of this was in this compact bomb.



Awesome box! Haters Tears, Marion Bu. WOW. Only one casualty. The Murren River was leaking. I popped it in the fridge for tonight. Cheers and thanks Jeremy. Overkill

 

In Nashville... Things are changing but not quite there yet. Yazoo is fine. Try Sue or Embrace the Funk (their sour program). They usually release something fun on Wednesday. Blackstone, as Mike was saying, is ok. Black Abbey is worth a look. Bearded Iris is not open quite yet but if you can find their IPA Habit, grab some but only fresh.
Check out Craft Brewed. It is a good local bottle shop
If you haven't done that before go eat at BBQ at Martin's and hot chicken at Prince's.

If you're at Craft Brewed, which I'd also recommend, I'd hit up ML Rose for food. They have some damn good burgers and a pretty decent beer list.

I plan on getting none of these 3 for myself at the release I'm attending but will pick up one if my potential target likes the post

#VBS for the Flyers game tonight. This is absolutely delicious. Thanks @Dave_Treat ! First of their beers you've gifted me over the months that I've opened. It's getting me excited to try the others

EDIT I wanted to mention... the blueberry in this is DEFINITELY the prevalent flavor. Some of the bitter hop finish of an IPA comes through in the finish, but this is, IMO, a blueberry beer first. Fantastic.

 

I'm looking forward to getting my target. I've never done a "days of" so I'm excited for this. I hope I can hit some wants but I have a couple ideas already as long as they fit my targets desired styles. There are a couple releases coming up between now and shipping time that should make their way into the box.

 

Same here. Never done a days BIF so I'm excited to be in one with the locals! Most of my box will likely come from the cellar (3-4 bottles) pending style preferences but definitely want to get some truly local growler fills for my target.

To my future sender -- I will do my best to stay true to the spirit of the days BIF and consume each bottle the day of. The only reason I wouldn't is if my schedule just doesn't allow it (read: I work early two days in a row and you decide to send me a 15%+ stout to dome for whatever reason) in which case I'll still post the pr0n and drink it the first possible day after the 6 days ends that won't leave me hating life the following day... no sitting on the bottles here

 

@Mipper why do we keep *lurking* in and out of this group of "alcoholics"? Maybe one of these days they'll let us join. I know....we have to tell them how cool we are, go through hell week and give away beer. Then get club tattoo and they give us the sacred glass. Seems pretty simple to me
