Bingo. I've got bottles in the cellar that I'd like to open, but I just don't have the desire to drink every day, or even every week.

Impulsively buy beer which essentially means I buy it faster than I can drink it. There is a silver lining I suppose, I have well stocked refrigerator.

Until you run out of room if your fridge and end up buying a second mini-frigde just for beer. And then fill that up so now you have beer in both fridges.

Compounding that is that I don't drink as often or as much as I should based on the amount beer I buy. More than once I've capped off a bomber for the next day.

I keep buying and trading beer even though I definitely do not need them. It's GREED.

I'm up in the Northwest corner so it's not very close. If you were closer I'd probably be looking to sell some stuff though.

I have a well stocked fridge and four well stocked chest freezers. And soon to be a well stocked spare bedroom due to a silly amount of beer(17ish cases) I had to ship to some friend's houses due to being out of town for six months.

Telling myself I don't need to go to the bottle shop this week, then getting acute FOMO and going anyway.

Send some of those freshies to Nebraska. I'll send you big stouts and such so you won't have that problem!

Spending to much money on beers when they hit the shelves.

    1) Looking through the trade forums when I'm "supposed to be taking a break from trading" (leads to spontaneous trades).
    2) Buying more beer to expand in trades.
    3) Beer trading when I should be studying.
    4) Shipping to traders who live in the boonies.
    5) Beer trading
    6) Buying IPAs when I'm trying to cut back to 2 drinking occasions per week (this includes trading for IPAs).
    7) Leaving empty beer bottles and dirty glassware around the house.

Through all the bad beer has done plenty good by me (wish there was a good habit post). I'm lucky my girlfriend loves beer (she might be an enabler lol).

Also the inevitable late night snack after 2 beers snack that always sounds like a good idea at the time.

Having one or two beers and then cracking open a 10-12% bomber bottle and thinking it's an awesome idea to try and finish it.

    Accidentally cellaring IPA's on occasion

Sipping on a beer too late into the evening and sometimes, but sometimes not finishing it before I doze off with the TV still on. Inevitably I wake up to a partially full beer glass next to me, a black screen with the word Roku zig-zagging across it, and the compulsion to run downstairs and stuff my face with food before I really go to bed.

Mine is almost always finished, but i will wake up in a lurch at like 12:30 to 1 with a groggy headache and still have to let the dog out and wander up to bed.

Drinking a couple beers and "not feeling it" so add one more on that breaks the camels back. Usually it's because I am sitting and relaxing watching a movie with the family out of town, so not moving around a lot so not feeling it as much. Then a 10%+ stout on top.

Feeling like I sort of HAVE to get that new release. Hence, 330-bottle cellar count right now. It is as awesome as it is not awesome.

Mine would have to be leaving empty bottles lined up around the sink and counter. Honorable mention to acquiring too many beer glasses, they are also beginning to line up around the counter.
