Sadly, I can confirm this happened. He had a guilty look guys!!

We got there around 2ish and there was a two 4-pack limit (like they had originally stated) and the beer didn't run out until pretty close to 5. Another awesome event! Really enjoyed the Yuzu Fruit Saxx.

 

I feel very fortunate to have an awesome trade partner who is always willing to send some Hoof Hearted goodies to me at cost. He is the real MVP (you know who you are!). I am about to wreck some Blabe this weekend and cannot wait to try the Mom Jeans with Maple and Chilies.

 

I didn't get alot of spice/pepper from the Mom Jeans but it totally had the vibe of Founder's Breakfast Stout with a CBS-esque finish. Really impressive given all their hoppy beer praise. The fruit gose was above average too.

 

The Mom Jeans with maple was good, but a little sweet for me... If it was a little drier it would have been exceptional. A few friends had thought the same thing as myself. Overall, the coffee one was better I think!

 

Viet SS is on at Pies and Pints in Easton. Went late last night, and my buddy and i were the only ones drinking it. The board showed the sixtel was still full too.

Did that last canning of Citra High ever see distro (Columbus)? I've been waiting for it show up to send to a trading partner, so if not I'll just send what I got while its fresh.

Yup, growlers fills of everything. Drafts were $5-6, growlers are like $15.

Edit: Bring your own growler though, they don't always have enough.

It depends on the beer and supply but they usually will.

 

No watching from corners unless beers are shared. Opinions about beer are welcomed but info is greatly appreciated by all.

 

You sure they do fills of everything??? I didn't ask but there was a growler fill price next to Mom Jeans and Saxx but not Dong or SO11. I'm just wondering if anyone got a growler fill of those last time?

I don't want @miketd to come thinking he can get Blabe when they might not be doing fills of it

 

Very dog friendly. The don't call it Hillbilly Farmstead for nothing. Very cool and chill place to kick back. People always bring blankets and chairs to put down and have picnics with the kids and dogs and the cannings.

 

They have the barn where they have their small bar and all of the brewing equipment. Given that it won't be a canning release on Saturday, I'd think you should comfortably be able to find seating inside. But at the events, the crowd always trickles out to the lot area where people set up shop with their own chairs and stuff.
