New to Ohio (2015)

Yes-you can sit inside or outside the building and see the entire inside. It's a new pole barn-like building with garage doors on one side that they open. It's surrounded by farmland.

 

If you check out their facebook event they do answer the blade and konkey growler question. Yes they will fill growlers but very limited

 

We just did this for the first time at Blabe and it was so nice... Usually we just chill inside at the bar but had chairs and did a nice little bottle share in the lot with friends and it was wonderful. Already planning some good bottles for next time... Such good people, atmosphere and beer... Win win win!

 

@miketd don't forget you're 30 mins away from the winking lizard at crosswords having the 33 jackie o's tap takeover.

 

Were you with the group with Brad and Cathy? They were with a little group in the lot and stopped us as we were leaving.

Just a heads up, (not sure if you saw) there is a one bottle per person limit on the bourbon pumpcan, 3 bottle for rum pumpcan and bourbon is tap room only release. It does say rum should see some distro.

 

Yeah, I saw. Just putting it out there for anyone who couldn't care less about it but can get one while getting their rum allotment. I'd be glad to send something their way.

 

Super awesome place and crowd. Here's hoping the 4th st taproom soaks up a lot of the future crowds and keeps the Marengo spot low key.
Recommend bringing chairs and maybe even a small table, or any flat surface, to set drinks on - you'll probably buy a few at a time, and the food truck was great last time.

 

So did Ohio get passed up on Lagunitas DoppelSticky? I haven't seen any yet, but see Brown Shugga starting to hit shelves.. any info on DoppelSticky in Ohio?

 

Saw that it was on tap at several places for Cleveland Beer Week. Didn't try it though.

 

Hmm.. I guess I missed that.. would've liked to see some bottles, but oh well..

 

Ohio did get it, but on tap only and VERY limited from what I heard. Kinda disappointed since I thought some states did get bottles.

 

I've also been lurking here for a few weeks... Was just drinking a delicious CBC Yakima Fresh Hop at Studio 35 here in Clintonville and they're advertising a beer tasting with Hoof Hearted and Land Grant on Sunday Nov 1st:

Interesting....both LG and HH posted pics of a collaboration beer being brewed and said to save the date for November 1st. I haven't seen any other details about it yet though.

 

Even if the beer is mediocre these beer events at Studio 35 are always fun and worth the $25 IMO
