The Hotel VT has its own Beer Concierge to help you with that - ask for him. Not kidding!

Doc Ponds was great for us too....though we didnt really get the full experience. We went in the early afternoon and had a few focal/heady cans but could only get cold menu items. The Humus & fried Pita crisps were awesome, as were the olives....but while we were there, they had a pre dinner shift run through with the wait staff. They talked about all the new beers, cocktails & menu items coming on for the evening. Really got the mouth watering, esp when they were all served a bluefish salad melt sandwich that looked and smelled phenomenal! The music was indeed great (nice, old school reggae). Not sure when it will happen but I cant wait to get up there again to take in the whole shebang!

    Highly recommended!

$9 bottles of Everett and George at Doc Ponds tonight. 4 additional HF taps as well. Have to split my loyalties between there and Lost Nation re: post-HF beer runs now.

Will be visiting the area of New England at the end of October and thought about a detour into VT. Chances of Heady, SoS, or other VT IPAs sticking around for purchase on a Saturday? Could reach as far as Burlington or Hill Farmstead if needed. First timer.

Another question (sorry!) - we will be driving right past Fiddlehead on Sunday on our way back to Ohio. Any chance they would still have second fiddle (I can't make it Saturday). Not sure I'd stop there unless I think I have a good chance at Second Fiddle so as to not try too much of the wife's patience! Any thoughts?

Quick question for everyone. My trip date changed and now I am coming to VT next Mon-Wed. I'm staying in Middlebury but will be willing to drive around to grab all the beer I want. I think I'm going to be stopping at Beverage Baron on my drive in Monday morning to get my case of Heady. Is there any good places to get sip on Monday afternoon or Tuesday morning? I see on the site that Lawson's gets distrib. in Waitsfield and Waterbury primarily on Tues. which places would be the best for me to grab a couple 4-packs in the am. Thanks for any help!

The last couple 2nd fiddle releases made it into Sunday. If you are going down Rt 7 it is literally right there in and out in less than 5 min

I know there is a delivery schedule on the alchemist website. I'll be driving up from Hampton NH tomorrow morning, can anybody provide insight on typical delivery times. I'll generally be driving toward morrisville but am fine with going out of my a little. Trying to plan my route. Thanks!

More town general store is a great place to grab Lawson's on Tuesday morning. Usually 3 4 pack limit.

Had some serious flight delays and overslept this morning, missed the heady deliveries. Thinking about trying waterbury tomorrow. Anyone help me with some info on how early it's delivered to the locations in Waterbury on Wednesdays and if I'd need to get into town early? Thanks in advance.

Was in Waterbury in August, picked up Heady at the Village Market right at 9 am (got to beer section as delivery guy was putting it out, two 4 pack limit). Was told it hits Craft Beer Cellar around lunch or little after (I missed that delivery visiting Hill Farmstead).

Thanks to the OP for this thread! My wife and I are doing a similar trip next year at about this time, thinking Stowe might be our landing spot.
(Travelling from Michigan) It sounds like HF is a must visit among others. Great info on this thread, thanks to all the posters as well.

Shoot me a message if you want any input from our recently completed trip (which included a case of Heady and Sip coming back to Ohio with us). It's definitely a trip we plan to repeat every couple years!

One more bump for the weekend. Heading up to VT Sunday. Anyone know where I can grab even just one 4 pack of Sip of Sunshine on Monday afternoon? Any help would be appreciated.

I'm heading up from Boston with a couple of friends next Thursday. I was planning on hitting up Hunger Mountain for a case of Heady, then back tracking to the Warren Store for Lawson's. Then taking rt 100 up through Waitsfields/Waterbury/Stowe in search of Lawson's where we can find it. From there head up to HF and maybe a stop at Lost Nation or Rock Art on the way. It is just a day trip, so we are trying to maximize what we can find.

Here is what I'm thinking for timing:
Arrive at HM Coop around 7:30a, try to get out of there by 8:30/9a
Arrive at the Warren Store around 10a for SOS
    Get through Waterbury around 11:30a-12p
Get to Lost Nation by 1p have lunch
Hit up HF around 3p then head back home from there.

Is this aggressive? Any additions or changes you guys can think of. Also any place to get Zero Gravity along the way?
