Best Bottle Cap

I've been depositing my caps inside th drip pan in the island in my kitchen for 3 years. I have a bunch of clear bottles filled w caps from emptying. Here's what it looks like now... 1/2 Homebrews 1/2 Craft

They didn't use the Bigfoot design. Mostly they used the blue porter cap, but another one they used was gold with "FLORIDA" in red on it. I refuse to put it in the middle of the rest of the normal ones. Let me tell you, though, we went to many beer fests that year and gave the Sierra Nevada reps hell for it. We were so tenacious that, by the end of the year, they would see us coming and roll their eyes and promised they would rectify the situation. I like to tell myself my friends and l were the reason the cap's design was reinstated.

A few of my favourites. From left to right: Boreale from the early '90s. The first bottle cap that made me think collecting caps might be a fun idea. Sigturna Midvinterblot from last year. And, a great one I received from the generous @AndyCapper. I've looked it up before, but can't remember off hand what it is from at the moment.

 

Thanks for the credit @Coronaeus. The pig cap (right) is from the UK, brewed by Lancaster Brewery, Lancashire, England on behalf of a specialist snack foods company that produces 'pork scratchings' - a bar snack to accompany beer. The beer itself is called "Mr Trotter's Great British Chestnut Ale" .... a traditional style dark ruby English ale. It is my favourite cap too.

 

Stop teasing me with pictures of the ones I don't have in my collection...1987, 88, 89, 90, 91, 93 and 94. I'm beginning to hate you:-)
