I had them bring me up a Jai Alai last time over the summer and absolutely loved it. Have read nothing but good things about this brewery. Something else that would be available right now that I should have them bring me? Any recomendations would be greatly appreciated! Looking for a 6 pack hopefully so I can make it last. IPA/2xIPA, Stouts...

She is coming from Largo, which I believe is around Tampa.

    Thanks!

Unholy from Coppertail is fantastic. Being an out of stater myself, I am looking forward to grabbing this when I'm down there in a few weeks. Readily available beer I believe, worth picking up.

Interesting - typically I'm not into tripel's. I had a Fin du Monde, which I know is sacrilige to not like, but I did not enjoy how strong it was. Can't put my finger on what it was, but from what I'm reading this is standard for a Belgian style - and I'm reading that Unholy is more of a Double IPA. I'll drink Imperial stouts and IPAs until the cows come home - not the ABV that bothers me. Also a hop head - so not sure what it is in the Belgians that I couldn't get around, but if this is more of a 2XIPA as I'm reading I will certainly give it a shot.

If you really enjoy Jai Alai (and it is a tasty beer) you can order it year round from luekensliquors.com and have it shipped to you. They even tell you canned on dates on their website so you know how fresh it is.

I'm not really into IPAs at all, but my husband really loves Sierra Nevada Torpedo. He swears by it, I can barely even stand the smell though!

I'd see if your friend could grab you some of that if you like IPAs.

Thanks I appreciate the reply - that's easily found around the country though and can get that where I am. A great beer, but looking for somethjing local to the Tampa area.

    Thanks!

If there is still tocabaga at CCB it's great as well. Also the current crowlers at CCB are good. I second the vote for cycle stuff. I would reccomend growlers from angry chair as well if they are willing to bring that back. Specifically the stouts

Unfortunately this is a family member that I need to make it as "shopper friendly" as possible....going with:

    Coppertail - Unholy
Cigar City - Puppy's Breath Porter
    Cigar City - Seasonal Creep
    Cigar City - Good Gourd

Those are all fine beers, to be sure, but finding those three CCB beers right now isn't going to be "shopper friendly" at all.

At the risk of getting flamed (because I'm not listing all the great stuff around here that mostly is NOT "shopper friendly" for a non-BA) from my fellow Bay-area BAs, here is what I would suggest:
    * Coppertail - Unholy
    * CCB - Jai Alai (if you liked it the first time, you'll like it again)
    * Tampa Bay Brewing - Reef Donkey

She should be able to find all three at the Total Wine in Countryside (she'll know). Hell, she can find the first two at her local Publix!

Put Tocobaga on that list. You wont be disapointed. And I second Reef Donkey.

Came in here to post Reef Donkey, but I see its been mentioned already.

Coppertail Free Dive IPA is solid as well.

Last 2 haven't been on the shelf in about a month so they're likely not going to find either, they lasted about 2 days in most stores here in Orlando. I don't know if I'd bother putting it on the list. Puppy's breath hasn't been released in a minute but should be due soon.

For IPAs Reef Donkey is good stuff, Tocobaga might be lingering around and it's worth putting on the list.

CCB has Cafe Americano listed on their site as a bottle to go, so that'll likely hit distribution this week and you may get lucky and score some.
