The Locals HINTS AND HAULS THREAD

On this note... my "wants" list is ENTIRELY things I've ticked that are just permawants, and is by no means up to date even in that regard... my true wants are good locals and new ticks (though I'm never against getting more of stuff I've had before). I'm more of a "these are the styles I like and the styles I dislike" than actually actively seeking out wants (though I do have some actual wants that I don't broadcast that I'm just stoked when I receive -- makes it more fun that way!)

 

Target acquired -- the good news is you've got lots of wants that I can pretty easily hit for a change. The bad news is that I wish you were my target in a larger round, because narrowing things down will be tough.

Hint #1 -- my target is NOT the only Local from his state participating in this round

And is the official name of this round the Locals Turkey Sixer?

 

I'll be scrubbing my wants list tonight. Probably also list some top wants and other information in my profile where I can keep it up to date

 

Anybody ever heard of or had this? Grabbed a bottle of it yesterday because I'm a sucker.

 

Maybe this is just a kind way of reminding me to pick up that damn french toast I keep forgetting!

 

I would second this, although my "wants" list is the opposite in that it's entirely whales that I never expect to get. If it's a good beer in a style I like that I haven't had before, that's a want.

 

Remember kids, we have newbies coming in who may not know us well.

Please try to either update wants, or throw a note in the thread, or send me a wishlist for your target!

Help us all, especially me, cuz I don't want to hit you up specifically if your target needs help.

 

While I didn't send a wish list, my sender should read my info tab and wants list is up to date, but fairly whale heavy. I do not expect whales. Hit me some beers I've never had and I'll be happy.

I can't keep track of who likes/dislikes Pumpkin (@Mikexw are you tracking this?), but I would like to include a very recent and very tasty local release if it would please my target. Please respond to this post if you think you may be my target and don't like pumpkin beers at all.

 

Sender: Just updated wants. All of my top wants and permawants are on the Info tab of my profile page, if you hit those, you are extra awesome.

 

To my sender: If it's not on my Wants or a .rar Whale, I'm just going to throw it in the garbage.

Sender... updating wants now by going through the top list and top of each region as well -- my wants will be a mix of things that I think are obtainable (though not 100% sure), whales, and perma-wants if I've had them before (untappd is up to date with check ins). Like others, I honestly do not expect whales

 

Dr. Samuel Johnson's right about Olson Johnson being right. I put a lot of stuff on my wants and provided a wishlist. Do not feel the need to hit any of those. I'm certainly happy getting some great Local brews that I haven't tried.

Turkey Sixer hint 1 - I can hit one or two of my target's wants and I think he may not mind a certain beer I'm going to pick up this weekend.

To my sender: please don't worry about hitting wants, my list is pretty out of date (have removed things I've gotten though) and I'm not sure if I'm gonna have time to update it.

Ok so I went through and added some wants from each region -- I only went off the BA top 250 and the top 100 for each region, so a lot of it may be whale-ish stuff (hell, some of the stuff literally might not even be obtainable anymore I don't know) -- but it should give my sender a guideline for the kind of stuff I like (I did note style preferences)

 

I also list some permawants, dislikes and biggest wants at the moment on my profile page.
