SENDER- it's been said by most in here but as a majority the Locals enjoy good beer. Be it rare or mass produced we drink it all. This is especially true for me. If you send me a six pack of Old Style that Drew is getting from the FIBs I'd honestly be just as happy as six Vanilla Rye. The VR would taste better but it's about building community far more than building ticks. Send what you'd like and I'll smile ear to ear.

 

I guess I'll rethink that 6 shipper of VR I was just packing up...

I'm not quite *that* anal, all I know is that the round I ran (which was probably a year ago), @JasonR1975 and @PA-Michigander specified pumpkin beers as dislikes.

 

Keep it bud after opening some of those bottles with us Friday, you owe me nothing. It killed me not entering the horizontalhood, but wanted others to enjoy your impressive cellar!

Also Mike is right, I loathe pumpkin beers but am open to new to me beers if my sender really enjoys it.

 

My profile (and the info I gave @devilfluff ) include everything you need to know. I'm happy with new ticks, typically once I try something it comes off my wants unless it was one of the best beers I ever tasted. I tend to add geographic wants each round as I narrow down my sender, by now there aren't many areas I haven't considered. That being said, if I narrow down my potential sender to a few people, I may add wants from that area.

Also, since it is pumpkin season, I will mention that I'm not really much of a pumpkin beer fan. On the other hand, my wife has recently decided she DOES like pumpkin beers, so if you have a good "girly" pumpkin beer to include that may earn me brownie points. It may also get me in trouble ("you told your weird internet friends what kind of beer I like??!!??") And please don't send me a whole box of them

 

I just went through the same exercise of adding from each region and (hopefully no offense to anyone) that South region is comparatively pretty weak. Also, holy shit New England.

This series has been plagued by QC problems and I have been burned and refused to purchase any more. The owner and/or brewmaster addressed it in the SW forum this week and convinced me to give them another shot. Glad I did, it's damn good.

 

I felt the same way... I might have added 5-10 beers from South lol

 

I did a little update the other day on my wants & account note. I have a metric crapton of wants but if none are hit I really don't care, I'm just looking for good beer & some new to me
