Agreed, albeit I only had one Chill Clinton and it was free. They had also been posting a lot of pictures about their burgeoning barrel program; assuming they stick with their 12 oz format they could have some real winners. Very curious if they are hiring a new brewer from within or looking outside.

A little odd that two head brewers have left within a few months of one another. Looking forward to the cherry bohemian coming back again this winter though.

The IPA fell flat for me. I only ever had the Cherry Bohemian on draft because of secondary fermentation issues with my bottles. I loved the Chill Clinton though. Also, if you ever get the chance to try Colossus of Stout you should get a pint. It's damn good!

Anyone know who their new head brewer is?

    This has me intrigued:

I second that. The Collossus Stout is excellent.

Do they bottle Collossus? I'm also hesitant to try their grapefruit offering based on their track record other than their sours. Which I think are tasty.

I had it at BrewFest or Iowa City Northside Oktoberfest. I haven't seen it bottled.

Most of Colossus went into barrels. Grapefruit IPA was Eric's brew. Said it was tasting good in the tank but wasn't there to see it through to completion.

Barrels!? That's good news considering how good the base stout is

Maybe this willl take over for the Exile IPA (hopefully). I don't think they've hired anyone new, don't know why anyone in the state would jet to work for them

Well for one their facility is amazing. They have a huge built in customer base, distro web already established and most importantly, cash.

Their barrel/cellar program is in place. Cedar Ridge barrels in the basement I believe. Overall the place is on the up and up, even with the loss of Eric.

People were absolutely in love with the Raspberry Bohemian that my buddy brought to Darkness Day this weekend.

Only time will tell I guess.

I think they were on the right track before Eric got there, minus the IPA. I forgot about the Colossus Stout. I had it at the Raspberry Bohemian release and thought it was top notch. I'm interested in trying the grapefruit IPA when it hits.

Stopped there for lunch on the way back to WI last weekend. Both the Beatnik Sour and Raspberry Bohemian were excellent. I picked up a tulip and a sixer of Beatnik as a souvenir. Great food!
