I dropped by over lunch and they had six-packs that they pulled from the back and singles in the cooler.

 

.....goes to show, it depends on the customer. way to go OB!

 

Sorry, not joking. I called before I went and they said they were still available for purchase, so I headed over.

 

I was there around 4 today and they had a few 6 packs left behind the bar and singles in the cooler. I watched as those were snatched up as I enjoyed a deviant dales (super fresh batch) and a reeb rye'd. Asked if they had any left around 5:00. "We're checking now if the pallet in the back has already been allocated" she said. More people streamed in asking for BA Fidy and sure enough, they rolled out another couple cases for sale. Still plenty left people, get while it's hot

 

Still had them at 6:30 this evening. Picked up a six pack, and noticed singles in the coolers. So they have them. I wouldn't be surprised if you were helped by this one individual. I've found her to be the least helpful in the past, compared to the rest of the staff (who are pretty awesome). Then again, it may just be me.

 

She probably thinks you're cute.

 

So this was just supposed to be "limited" at the weasel but we all have been hitting it pretty hard for a week now. Hope plans haven't shifted on that distro talk. Selling them at the weasel equals mo money for OB, and they've got a full blown chum filled frenzy going on.

 

A friend texted me saying BA Ten Fidy is on tap at Freshcraft. If you don't feel like driving to Longmont and/or want the tap experience.

 

They have to transfer the beers from the warehouse to retail. Maybe they don't know if they are going to distro or not, a lot of their favorite stores are begging them for some.

However, they make more money selling it themselves. Sorry they gave you the run around, but if I was OB and I had a limited amount left, I would just sell it at the tasty weasel.

On a practical note, anyone else planning on disregarding the 'drink by springtime' stamp on the bottom of the cans?

 

Yeah, I'll probably drink all of mine by the end of the month.

I'm right there with you. It is drinking perfect right now and I hate to chance that an infection shows up a couple months down the road. From an aging stand point, I really can't think of how aging would improve the taste.
