I was one of the lucky ones to receive a winning email around 12:30pm CST. Everybody I know entered, nobody else won.

They are still giving tickets out for what is the 3rd wave. Sounds like those selected have until some time on Wednesday to complete their purchases. I'm guessing this will go on until they have received payment for all of the tickets allocated. I'd also like to know the total number of tickets, bottles, barrels, etc..

The supposed Goose rep quoted a much smaller number in one of the other threads

13 for the rest of Oregon, 80 for the city of Portland alone. Sounds reasonable.

Yeah if his source is right and Portland is getting indeed 80 cases, can't imagine how many Minneapolis will get

If cities do get allocations like 80 cases all the folks who freaked out over getting Rare Day tickets are going to be really butt hurt. Personally I'd find it hilariously ironic

I don't think many of the pre trades are getting done, seems like most people with the ammo to close them are smart enough to realize there are 200 barrels of Rare that they just emptied. No matter how you distro it, 200 barrels is a lot of beer. Certainly not gonna be a rare brew, heh.

If they made 200 barrels of Rare, just think how many barrels of regular BCBS may be made! At some point BCBS may be a shelf turd in MPLS

Goose pulled beer from about 4,500 bourbon casks this year — up from about 4,000 last year.

A Goose Island spokeswoman said the suggested retail price for Bourbon County Stout will be $9.99, which would be approximately the same suggested price-per-ounce cost as last year. However, retailers are free to price the beer as they wish. (I paid almost double what I should have for a four-pack at a downtown Walgreens store last year.) She declined to comment on the suggested cost of the other Bourbon County beers.

How does this even make sense? I was able to find 4 packs for $20 last year. 48 oz > 32 oz if my math skills are right. $10 per 500 ml is stupid. Add the stupid mark ups and we are probably paying $12 for regular bcs bottles.

Didn't some huge company buy out GI? Things aren't changing at all, right? Make dollar bills yo.

Things didn't change for just long enough. Sadly until there is another widely available alternative we'll all keep buying.

Yep, it's gonna sell out regardless. Just annoying how they market it as the same price/ounce as last year when it isn't even close.

Wasn't there a big increase last year and the msrp went up too $26.99 for a 4pck of the regular. I know it was $20 2 years ago, but think I paid $27 while in Chicago last year.

I know Chicago paid $27 last year but I don't know why. It was still in the $20 ballpark anywhere I saw it in NE and IA last year. The case cost didn't go up from our distirubtor in Omaha.

That's pretty weird. Well, another price increase, which seems to happen everywhere.
