No growlers means that I doubt there will be a huge line to get in at 11. If you are there by 10:30 I have no doubt you'll probably be in the top 100 in line and plenty of parking at Sears.

I agree. No beers in line + no growlers= why show up early. Even if you are not top 100 I gurantee top 200-300, and that is plenty for a bracelet.

If they even get rid of 1500 bracelets it will be after 2-3pm in my opinion, and that will be after people call their friends and ask for more mules.

BA hunahpu only had a few hundred. so double or even triple that... You'll be good.

I'm getting there around 1, so I hope to get a wristband and drink some of those awesome guest beers. I'm coming from Austin, TX so if anyone wants to try to work out a trade for some Austin beers- Jester King?- let me know and I'll bring some!

I'm still looking for one more bottle of Cigar City Bourbon Barrel Big Sound (2011). Also would love to get a bottle of the 2011 Bourbon Hunahpu's, but I know that's a really tough one.

Here's what I have to offer:

    Westbrook Mexican Cake, 64-oz. GROWLER
    Founders Blushing Monk
    Founders Curmudgeon's Better Half
    Olde Hickory Event Horizon 2011
    Surly Five
    Surly Darkness 2010
    Deschutes Black Butte XXIII
    Firestone Walker Parabola 2011
    Foothills Sexual Chocolate 2011
Lost Abbey Angels Share 2010 Brandy (two bottles)
    Cigar City Hunahpu's 2011
New Glarus Belgian Red & Raspberry Tart pair

I'm getting into Tampa Friday afternoon, so could meet up Friday, or Saturday before the gates open.

Send me a "conversation" (beer mail) if you are interested!

Anyone know if all the taps be tapped when the gates open at 11 or will they be spread out throughout the day?

They'll be spread out throughout the day.

Last year it was 1, maybe 2 taps for some breweries and they kept rotating as stuff kicked. It'll probably be the same way this year.

What's the story with the Jonathan Wakefield brews? Searched but didn't find much info.

He made a fruit flavored berliner weisse last year that people went nuts over. So this year, they have his brews, and both 7th Sun and Funky Buddha also came out with fruit flavored berliner weisses. I don't know what the "Midnight Moonliner" Berliner Weisse is, but I know that when 7th Sun opened they had 2-3 different fruit flavored Berlinr Weisses on tap.

he's an awesome homebrewer from Miami. he brings up crazy berliners for Hunahpu's Day and Fruit in the Room. this year is no exception. he also usually brings a few cases of other beers to crack open, and they're all generally great.

last year he brought a Pineapple Kolsch and this year we brewed a big batch of it

Is there going to be some sort of tap schedule/location timetable? I'm sure I'll find out more once I get there but I'm just curious. With all the guest taps and CCB beers it's going to get confusing trying to keep track of all of them, haha.

Can you make it like an amusement park type of brochure with the keg tapping times and location? Lol.

From what I've been reading, it kind of seems like that's the case, though I wonder if I should still get there by like 7 or so to make sure I can grab some Murcielago before it sells out.

Just go there today. I bought 5. I think there will be plenty of it. They had cases behind the bar this morning when i was there, and i am sure they had more in the brewery.
