    PLEASE ELABORATE it might have been the 40 different barrel aged beer samples, but I recall many catlike creatures cupping your undercarriage.

    If I have this right, I helped set up the tent and grilled the bacon. Great meeting you all as well and had a great time! The Surly Five was AWESOME.

    Cracked my BA tonight. I have to say, it's my absolute favorite straight BA stout of all time. Really all that are ahead are variants. CBS, BCBCS, and Vanilla Rye. And those last two are a toss up.

    Had a terrible time camping out for Darkness Day this year. Met a lot of real assholes and had tons of shitty beer.

    Will do it again next year for sure.

    From having one in a vertical, and having one on tap, I'd say the biggest difference I've tasted is the hoppy kick. I definitely don't remember last years being this hoppy, and maybe previous years were and have lost it during cellaring, but I noticed that the most. Also is a little less sweet than most other years. I'm really really liking it.

    Someone from MN will set the record straight but I know I have heard discussion before of it seeming to be hoppier (than last year's darkness) every other year. (last year is anomaly no doubt due to the 2nd use BA'ing)

    You both are right! It is a hoppier RIS and this year seems hoppier than previous batches (at least in my opinion and a couple other people's)
