This batch is incredible. Bukeye was not my favorite, but I definitely prefer the new El Salvador blend. Just tons of rich chocolate, coffee, and roasted nuts. I got more dark fruit with the Bukeye, and didn't find it as coffee-forward as many of the DS blends.

I'd say the new batch is one of my favorites, up there with 3rd Anniversary and Sumatra Mandheling.

Does Tree House ever open early on Thursday's or is it like clock work?

The closest thing to opening eary at Tree House, is by way of coming out and collecting growlers to prefill. So, when they do open, your growlers are filled and ready to go

...at least this has been my experience on occasion

Agreed. The only time I've seen Tree House open early was during the YAHHHRRRGGG! release. The doors opened an hour early since the line was so out of control.

    Cans today - 8 Green, 8 Julius, 12 Eureka!

And it still says "a lot more to come"

Hey guys, I'm flying into Boston for work tomorrow morning. I have Saturday off and I'm planning on using my rental to head out there prior to opening. I was thinking of getting there around 10:15am, would this be the best thing to do??

That is a very solid ETA/plan! Although if you got there mid-afternoon, it would likely be a little less hectic. However, you'd risk that some of the offerings run out. I think 10:15 is the way to go.

Keep an eye on their website / twitter. If it says "More to Come" under either the Cans or Growlers on Friday night, the line may get a bit hectic Saturday.

If all you want is cans, just show up anytime before 1pm and you'll get Green & Julius no problem. TBD on their other offering based on demand, batch size and limits. A 10:15am arrival will get you in and out the door with your max allotment of cans by 11:30.

If you want growlers filled (MA only allows brewery's to fill their own glass - leave yours at home) plus cans, and get there at 10:15, you'll probably be out around Noon, again, depending on what's on tap - a big release will make Saturday hectic.

    Have fun!

I got there at 12:45 and it was about 120 deep. The wait was close to 30 mins.

Got there at 12:05 and was 90-100 people deep. What happened to our nice quiet in and out Thursdays?

Took about 45 minutes, missed the Eureka, but was able to get some last week so oh well. Still happy with 8 Green and 8 J.

I arrived at about 1245. Pretty crazy scene but it always looks worse than it really is. Parking was a little hairy, though.

Got there at 11:45. They opened the doors at 11:55. I was 26th in line. Out with 8/8/12 by 12:14 Would have been quicker, but the cans of Green were coming straight off the can line and into peoples cases. How is that for fresh!

Thinking about rolling up from Southern CT (Milford) tomorrow afternoon. Anyone down to car pool?

Presumably it's been quick all day other than an initial rush at opening. As far as I can tell, the overall line situation at Tree House has been getting better for a while now.
