    I think it was $3 for 4oz and $7 for 10 oz.

Damn, I guess it was only a matter of time before their taproom price was going to go up.

I got a can of Wet yesterday so I figured I'd chime in with some perspective from out in the PNW.

I didn't get any cat pee on the nose with this year's Wet. The Simcoe aroma actually got better as it warmed, but nothing super intense. The beer didn't taste like a lager to me, it honestly seemed like a standard IPA that was a bit more malt forward than I'd like. It's a pretty middle of the road fresh hop: not amazing, but not bad (and not even close to the worst FH I've had this year). Definitely better than 2013 Wet. However, it's not a great example of the style for those new to fresh hop beers. I wonder how much was lost during the two days in transit from Yakima to Minnesota.

Your experience, while amusing, is invalidated by my experience.

Satire. Do not take me seriously.

But, it pretty well sums up a large percentage of the threads here!

Is wet still pretty prevalent in the Duluth area right now? I'm heading up there in a couple of days and hoping to get a 4 pack.

I am admittedly far removed from Duluth as I reside in southern Minnesota, but it's long gone down here.

Don't know of you are driving near these areas on your way up, but I think it is still on the shelves in Cumberland (Island Wines and More) and Hayward (Northern Lakes Co-Op). If you aren't anywhere near those places, check at Keyport (Superior) and Cashwise and Mount Royal (Duluth). I would imagine it is still hanging around in Northwest WI some other places as well. Surly's Beer Finder might help with the where.

I had my first Wet of the year at stub n herb's. Tasted sooo delicious! Granted this was after a day of drinking Mich Light, Coors Light and Nordeast while at the Vikings Vs. Chiefs game. But that 1 "Wet" on tap was goll damn delicious! It was a revelation.

I went on the hunt for more Wet the next day which brought me here for the first time in ages. Found my 4 pack and experienced a similar dissatisfaction as others. It just wasn't the same hoppy, juicy goodness that I tasted on tap at Stub and Herb's.

FFWD to tonight and I had Todd @ 3 Squares and I could swear that was the beer I tasted at Stub's. All of the Wet cans couldn't replicate that flavor and I went through 3, 4 packs of them. Todd tonight at 3 Squares tasted like the beer I had at Stub's. Maybe the bar tender was mistaken about what was on tap? But hard to imagine..

After coming home from 3 Squares tonight having Todd and Abrasive on tap. Wet from the can is a pretty big let down. Very mellow and I can kinda see what people mean by a lageresque wet hopped beer taste. Similar, but not as faint in taste as Shell's wet hop pilsner this year.

    My worthless $.02
