    It's not hard to find, distributors get plenty of it. I've had good luck at the Beer Yard in Wayne the last few years.

    Nope, and I was clearly wrong. Upon further investigation it still hadn't been allocated as of last week per the manager at the shop I frequent most. Soon, hopefully very soon...

    I've had a couple of bottles of 2015 and, while I can't quite articulate it, I'm not as wowed as I was last year. Maybe BB has a relatively short window. Last year, I noticed it was a little more bitter after about 6 months. Maybe it needs to age for a month or two but not more than six. I'm interested in what others think because BB is one of my all-time favorites.

    Im getting a lot more barrel presence this year, tons more vanilla than i can remember. I usually get the drying out on the finish from the oaky barrel and spice, but its even more pronounced this year i think. I dont know if im getting more "bourbon", "heat", since the abv is dialed up than past years.

    Im drinking my first right now and when i compare it to my notes from previous years, its just alot more vanilla, creamy caramel type flavors, and barrel. but thats just me.

    Without knowing for sure and just guessing, im under the assumption these were first fresh barrels this year, it explains the higher abv and explains the taste difference im seeing in my notes. After tasting tonight, im very intrigued to wait 6 months and see how it compares to 2014 at 6 months.

    I've had 2 bottles so far, and agree. I think this year's version is great but will really mellow after about 6 months into something even more amazing...if I don't drink my entire case first:wink:

    I paid 15.99 a four pack, thought about waiting but decided i didnt feel like running all over this year to save a couple dollars. Definitely wouldn't have paid more tho.
