    Yep, wife's family is from Buffalo and she went to Syracuse. I've been up a number of times, though its been a while now.

    Lacking in the actual Vanilla Ryes, I took a page from this thread's book and infused 2014 BCBS with half a vanilla bean for 26 hours. I don't remember what VR tastes like, but this is close to heaven. Might do 18 hours next time though.

    Right? Sadly down to one BCBS left and it'll be infused with vanilla bean. I really thought all the hype about vanilla beans in BCBS being similar to VR was pure bull but it's very comparable. Amazing results.

    Oh no @valrxman shipment exception label unreadable. I know I bagged all the beers so if anything did break it wouldn't leak but please check and let me know nothing broke. Happened once before and no bottles broke and must have been rain or something hopefully

    Just a random thought since I see one talked about way more than the other -- am I the only one that thinks Narwhal to be a far superior beer to Ten Fidy? They were right near one another on the shelf in a local shop last night and I couldn't even think of justifying almost $15 for Ten Fidy when Narwhal was... wait for it... $10.50 (well 10.49 but I couldn't resist)

    I like Ten Fidy a little better but not enough to justify the price difference. There is Narwhal in my fridge right now but no Ten Fidy. But when Founders Imperial Stout is in season then that is the one in my fridge instead of the other two.
