If I ever buy a new house, I plan on just having a thick slab concrete walk up with no actual porch

 

If you are going to go to 18th Street I would recommend Four Fathers in Valparaiso. Its only 30 mins or so from 18th St. About a year and a half old but doing some good things and they have a few beers they bottle now. You can buy the bottles and drink them there or take them to go, you can also bring in your own food or they have chips and pretzels and such for a buck or two

 

Binny's are good & I admit I've never been to Beer Temple but I love West Lakeview Liquors

 

What about Burn 'Em Brewing...I haven't been there but I've good things

 

If you are going to Rev's brew pub for food, good choice. If you are just going to drink, I highly recommend the tap room on Kedzie. Way better place to drink and they'll probably have bottles of Deth's Tar for sale. If you hit that up on Sunday, I will definitely work to meet you guys there!

 

I have only had a few from them all of which I liked but have never been to the actual brewery.
