Best lineup in a while, glad to see Holiday Porter again. This variety pack has become a yearly tradition for me.

Replace Boston lager with double bock and please stop putting Boston lager in your variety packs

White Christmas was terrible two years ago and actually pretty good last year.

Excited for this pack. Six beers across twelve bottles is what a mix pack should be.

Listed as a Golden/Blonde ale on Ratebeer so I'm guessing along those lines to juxtapose the relative heaviness in the rest of the pack. I'm interested as well.

Not only is this the best Winter Pack from SA in many years it is their best Variety 12 pack in quite a few years. Very awesome. The Sparkling Beer is pretty damn good!

Awesome news. Was very bummed that they discontinued Holiday Porter a few years ago and am very happy to see its return. And I will miss the White Christmas in the pack. I know lots of people (as we have established) didn't like it, but I did. Oh well, I'll just get a six pack! Good on Sam Adams.

Still not seeing this in stores of any kind throughout Pacific Northwest. Anyone else seen it yet? Prolly "not" hoppy enough for the demographics up here. Gawd, so over the hop craze and actually looking forward to this from Sam Adams!

Sam's Fall Packs just showed up here last week. You just never know around here.
We got Sam's FALL Packs in (finally) about a week ago. Bet you see it before I do.

Every now and then you may run into a store that breaks open the 12/24 packs. Would not mind making a mixed six of the Porter and Old Fezzi

One year a local store took apart their 12 packs at the end of the season, and made six packs out of everything that was left. A six pack of Old Fezziwigs was an AWESOME find.

They finally updated their beer page with one for Sparkling Ale for those interested: https://www.samueladams.com/craft-beers/sparkling-ale

Still haven't seen this yet though. Hopefully within the next week it will be hitting shelves around here, but at least Celebration makes it a bit of an easier wait.

    from the above:
Oh, well... so much for a revival of the even rarer American-style "Sparkling Ale"...

That's funny, you guys. I was thinking the exact thing. Except I'd make it 2 Porter, 2 Fez and 2 White Christmas. I can't believe I am this excited about Sam Adams variety pack, plus the release of Merry Maker (Mischief). This year is gonna be a Sam Adams Christmas for sure!

Perhaps it's cynical, but it appears they forgot to update their HTML for the new name of the Sparkling Ale page. Stills reads as "Scotch Ale - Brewmasters Collection." Don't know the Boston portfolio as well as others, but was anything by that name ever a past release?

This is awesome. I love the porter and fezziwig. I'm always down for a regular Sam Adams. I think the Winter Lager is a nice brew. And the sparkling ale, which, from what I gather utilizes my much loved Noble Hops, sounds tasty. Plus they ditched any sign of belgian yeast and/or wheat beers (unless. Sign me the hell up for this.

    Well played BBC!

OMG ... what am I saying? :grimacing::confused::grimacing::confused::grimacing: I like White Christmas but there's a chance there'll be CHOCOLATE BOCK SINGLES THIS YEAR!!!!!!!! No way I'm passing that up in a mix a six!

Sounds good. It's pretty similar to the old pack I used to drink tons of in the mid 2000's. Regardless of the ridiculous name, I want Cranberry Lambic back, too. Chocolate Bock has been a welcome addition, though. I like that one a lot.

Anyone know if the 24 packs will have an extra beer in them? Seems as if that's their trend lately (although this one has six different beers vs. four already, so...).

Not crazy about the winter lager, but compared to the perm solution known as White Christmas, I will take it. This is the best mix I have seen them come up with.

How was that sparkling beer? I still have yet to see this pack hit my town
