They were filling Crowlers of Nutsmasher. I missed that by about 15 minutes.

I was able to pick up Flight on the Angry Dragon here in Toledo, excited to crack it open during the Notre Dame game Saturday night.

I could be wrong, but I'm guessing most of their crowlers are always $10. If you follow beer menus or their twitter account its updated fairly regularly. Thats how I found out.

Positive movement on the abv limit issue:

    http://www.bizjournals.com/columbus...ates-for-stronger-beer-find-ally-in-ohio.html

    Gotta love this part:

"The Ohio Beer Blog also noted that the only vocal opposition so far has been MillerCoors who, in an Oct. 6 letter to the committee, said raising the ABV could confuse consumers “who have a settled expectation of a beer’s taste profile and alcohol content.”

Yes, because beneath the current 12 percent ceiling, a Miller Lite has the same taste profile and alcohol content as a Columbus Brewing Co. Bodhi and a Guinness and a Great Lakes Brewing Co. Christmas Ale.

    SMH."

In MillerCoors defense after all the tickets had been served at the recent CBS event I went to. I just kept ordering pours repeatedly until I became confused and took an Uber home.

Thirsty Dog in Akron had on their FB page, they are releasing their regular Pumpkin (always very late due to using actual pumpkin and squash from the owner's farm) this week and newly bottled Barrel Aged version of their Pumpkin in 750 ml's - $16 I think was the price....limited NE Ohio distro

Has anyone seen any of the dragons milk reserves in Ohio, or heard if they will be coming here?

Random barrels of Vietnamese Coffee Speedway have been dropping around Cbus for a couple weeks. I've been inconveniently been unable to try it. Would appreciate a heads up the next time one of you good people sees it around town. It appears that GE in Grandview sold out yesterday. Many thanks.

Not exactly Cbus, but if you live on the north side looks like this place has it:

Found a cool place today, called Bruning's Wine and Clocks near the Fairfield Commons Mall. Half of the storefront is home furnishings/clocks. The other half has a pretty nice selection of beer, for being wine focused. They also have a 6 tap draft system and have tastings on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.

I picked up a bottle of Neon Gypsy there, going to have a couple DuClaw beers on Saturday night once I get moved into the apartment.

I also plan on having a small dinner/tasting at my new apartment once we get settled. Anyone local is free to stop by.
