Anyone going? I will be there to represent my hometown. It's also a dog friendly event so I'm stoked about that. I'll be there with my lady and our pup.

If you buy your tickets before noon today online they are $16 vs. $21 at the door.

    Lineup: http://vancouverbrewfest.com/festival-details/the-brewers/

Buy additional tasting tickets for $1 each. 3 tickets will fill your 12 oz glass with the exception of a couple brews and the wine. You may use cash or credit at the event.

Portland peeps: BREWVANA Brewery Tours is providing transportation to the Vancouver Brewfest this Saturday August 11th from 2-9pm. Pick up and drop off will be in SE Portland at APEX Bar (1216 SE Division Street) on the hour every hour.

I'll be there volunteering with my dad Saturday 12-3. Sounds like there are a good number of 'Couve businesses that will have Noms.

Just curious... $3 for a 12oz glass is overpriced? You will easily pay $3 at any bar/pub for a schooner of local beer.

I thought it was nice, got to try some beers I'd not had before. (And some new breweries I'd not be able to sample from before.) I really enjoyed the Loowit ESB.

Very nice for the first Vancouver Beerfest. Good space layout to keep the crowds spread out despite LOTS of people.

Agreed. I had a really good time too. I think the organizers did an awesome job and I look forward to next year.

The shade of the large trees was nice too. Great space for a fest. I wonder what the total turnout was.

My dog was ecstatic that he got to hang with us all day.

I've been doing PDX beerfests for years and many of them are just as expensive. This one was entirely non-profit, however and the first fest for Vancouver so I think we can cut them a little slack.
