The hell do I know? Apparently, as long as it's stored at a constant temp and the cap is tightly secured, Sam Adams allows that it can be enjoyed over a longer period of time, some suggest "for years." Yikes, had no idea. Cheers to you.

I actually opened it when it came out in 2012.

Anyone make it out to @brewgentlemen last night to pick up Skeuomorph or brett'd Citra?

I got a bottle of Skeuomorph and Citra Saison. Tried the Skeuomorph on draft and it was really tasty and intense. Might sit on that bottle for 6 months or so. Wet Hop CPA was awesome as well.

Seem like there were plenty of bottles left? I'm going to head out there tonight but probably won't get there until 7:30-8pm. Hoping to get one of each.

I was there around 9pm and I think they had plenty of bottles left but behind the counter.

I know... we need more shares

I drank a bottle of Caution last night and it reminded me of the apple cake my mother used to make when i was a kid. Really enjoyed it. Cheers Voodoo

I drank a bottle last night as well and I agree. MUCH better than last year's batch. I got more barleywine going on this year than last and nowhere near as hot. The barrel contribution was much more balanced this year too. $20 is still pretty damn steep, so I won't be buying more (since there are still some left right?)...but it was really good.

Went there last night and they said they were out of CAUTION around 9:30pm in Homestead. Not sure about Meadville.

Less that $1 an oz threshold. At what price range would you buy more? There has been a lot of talk of price on here so I am curious.

There is a certain brewery from one state over that (imho) charges too much for their BA beers.

Don't like pumpkins and barleywines aren't my favorite, but I adored Caution! (draft).

Legit question. For the record, I think $1/oz is too high for anything less than the truly world class beers out there. I'd happily pay that (and likely higher) for something like Black Magick, for example. But I consider that nearly perfect for the style.

Probably would go up to about $16 for more Caution. That's completely arbitrary, so don't bother asking why I chose that amount...just feels right, I guess. :grinning:

I was okay with the price of Caution! at $20. I've probably given The Bruery way too much of my money though. I've been desensitized by consistently buying $30 bottles.

I should probably know this, but who are you referring to?
