Bell's 30th should kick soon. Until then I'm going to keep enjoying a great $5 pint after work each day.

World class beer...like the BA score says. It really coats the tongue though, so it was nice that the water machine is right there for a little cleansing between sips, so you could get the full impact again.

When you released Nonstop Forever earlier this year (I believe it was in September?) you had it under the style of an American Barleywine. But now on your website it is listed as an American Strong Ale. Although both styles are similar to one another I was just wondering why and when you decided to label it differently?

I noticed that as well actually. I have no clue what the difference is though, to be honest.

This was discussed somewhere earlier in this thread if I remember correctly.

I feel like Sheila Broflovsky here but what, what, what??!? You liked a hoppy beer? Maybe you're growing up after all?

Drinking an Insane Clown Party now. I feel like this is going to be crazy good in a few weeks but its a little young at the moment. Slightly boozy but a great hop flavor.

Growler worthy? Thinking of hitting BG up today, to fuel further home renovation projects.

I drank a 64 of it last night and have no regrets.

Skeuomorph was very apple brandy forward and a lot less hot than the taster I had awhile ago. I wish there was another strong flavor there, I really lost interest about half way through the glass.

I'd be curious to see how the bottles develop

I drank a Stone Enjoy by 10.31 last night. Not too bad. I just wish I drank the other one too because now it's expired today and I don't feel like drinking a malt forward barleywine with faded hops.

It'll be just fine if you drink it in the next few days. Its not like a switch has been flipped from fresh to not fresh....

haha Yeah, been trying the hoppy stuff again lately. Still insanely picky about it, but I've found a few that I've really enjoyed.

Really been liking Deschutes Fresh Squeezed, especially to knock back a few during a game or something.

Pretty sure that's how it works. It's like a ticking time bomb

I am curious if anyone got to try the East End BA crowlers yesterday. I was unable to make it, but wanted to try the BA Fatter Gary.

I went, I'd say the ba fatter Gary was the only one I would even consider purchasing again. The Weiser Peach had basically no peach character, and just straight lactic acid and diaper. Reminded me of a hop farm sour. The steal cut tasted like really cheap bourbon with some extra ethanol added, and light acrid barrel. Not really any underlying beer character. I do like the crowlers idea though

Had the Rivertowne Breakfast IPA and enjoyed it--was a pretty good match for Sunday brunch. Can't say that I regularly encounter their lineup, but this may be my favorite from them. The mouthfeel was a little heavier and the malt shone though more than that which I've encountered in other coffee IPAs, but I liked it enough to have two.

Same here, I really dug it. Not that I've had many, but it was the first coffee IPA with both bean & hop coming through equally, & that little bit of green pepper flavor that a lot of coffee beers carry was a nice complement.
