Had 05+ not too long ago. 07 and 08 were really good.

08 is just about perfect right now.

'08 has been perfect for the past year and a half in my opinion. Have had probably two four packs over the course from when it was released and I still think it is in the "perfect" stage and is not declining yet. '07 was not nearly as good as the '08.

    Cheers!

08 was one of my favorite beers that I had last year, I cracked one last weekend and is as equally fantastic.

We did a 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 vertical in December. The 07 was falling off a bit. Would still beat half the beers out there in flavor, but not so when compared to fresher BCBS. The 08 was delicious and memorable. The newer vintages increased in alcohol heat accordingly. Set up that vertical. You'll love comparing them side by side.

I have no clue whether the OP and most of the responders are talking about this or this.

I'm right there with you. Usually Brooklyn is BCS and GI is BCBS. Maybe a typo by the OP.

My thought as well. And most refer to BBCS vintages by 08/09 and 09/10.

I did a 06-11 vertical of BCBS a month ago and thought the '07 and '08 were both very good. The '06 not so much, so I would say it's probably time to drink both the '07 and '08. Also, off topic, the '10 was much hotter than the '11.

Oops. It was in the wee hours of the morning and my eyes might have been playing tricks on me. My comments reflect GI BCBS only.

Like everyone else, I think '08 is heavenly right now. No idea how much longer that will last, I only had one thanks to a generous BA bringing it to a bottleshare.

I had an 08 in November and it was great, I wish I had more, better than the fresh 10 and 11 I have had.

op, that's a nice avatar. it would be a shame if something were to happen to it.

edit: beer-related, 06 is falling off, 07 is a little past its peak, and 08 is at its peak.
