Victory harvest is really good. Case is done might get another. Pased on Sensei and lagunitas because I don't want a case before I taste and I can't find a single or sixer. Will just stay local and enjoy that.

    Enjoy

Thinking about how fresh the PNW must get some of their fresh hop brews, and generally about the whole Born Yesterday philosophy of uber-fresh beer, and it has me thinking/hoping that perhaps the next trend in craft is a razor-sharp focus on fresh beer releases. Even if they're seasonal, as with fresh hop stuff, man would that be cool. I guess the alternative (and this is one that the PNW guys already know) is to just have a ton of good local breweries that distribute, so that you're getting consistently fresh stock. Regardless, the point here is that the fresher you can get me those hoppy brews, the better!

Please make all those available & affordable coast to coast, just like "middle of the pack" Lagunitas.

So I hear Ohio is finally getting some this week. They should change the name to Born Last Week for us.

Picked up a sixer this afternoon and just popped open my second bottle, amazingly fresh and the hop flavor just pops.
Paid 12.99 well worth the price.

FWIW, I agree with you. Born Yesterday is delicious, and the fact that they got it from the brewery to Portland retailers 3 days after bottling is pretty amazing, but I'm not sure it would even crack the top 10 of the fresh/wet hop beers I had this year.

We'll get right on that, just as soon as all the "mind blowing" Florida breweries start distributing their Florida Weisses (seriously, eff that phrase) coast to coast.

You're right, thanks, Florida does have a lot of excellent breweries, such as Swamp Head, Angry Chair, Cycle/Peg's, Funky Buddha, Cigar City. But i wouldn't compare their limited, hyper-local offerings to a fantastic, nationally-available beer like Born Yesterday.

Found but was limited to one sixer at a small local here last week for $11.99. Called the nearby TW this afternoon in hopes that I might get lucky and be able to grab another. Was told they had 10 sixers in stock but when I got in I found out I was limited to purchasing 2 bottles at $2.79/ea. Bought them anyway, but mildly disappointed.

Found it at my "Local" yesterday. Chilled in the fridge for about 7 hours. A nice bold flavor to it. One of the best Pale Ales you can drink, IMHO.

I had my last bottle last night and thought it wasn't popping like it was last week. Kinda flat now. I can get cases of it if anyone is interested.

Had it. Alright, but somewhat overrated.

Then again, I'm more critical of the popular brews.
