    Alaska

    Midnight Sun - Sockeye Red
    Alaskan - Smoked Porter
    Broken Tooth - Fairwether IPA
    Denali Brewing - Chuli Stout
Anchorage Brewing - The Tide and It's Takers
Kenai Brewing - Peninsula Brewer's Reserve (our PBR)

*These are not the best beers in the state or even best offerings from these breweries, but as someone that lives here, they are synonymous with Alaska.

Going for variety, and to showcase that, I had to exclude some really great beers. I couldnt just do all IPAs now, could I lol.

Marble Pilsner- two time GABF medal winner
Marble Oatmeal Stout- Basically NM's version of FW Velvet Merlin
Santa Fe Imperial Java Stout- 8% but on a thinner bodied beer. Espresso notes everywhere
Bosque Scale Tipper- Two time NM state IPA winner. This seems to be available a lot more frequently as of late, so I had to include it
La Cumbre Elevated IPA- Probably the most popular ipa in the state. Most traded, rated etc..
La Cumbre Project Dank- Second most popular only due to this being in bomber form imho.

It only seems La Cumbre's two IPAs get traded for. But these others are really good to style beers as well.

Other candidates include Marble Red, Marble Double White (this should be up in canning form by early next year), Sierra Blanca Bone chiller english nut brown, La Cumbre Malpais Stout, La Cumbre Red Ryeot, and La Cumbre Slice of Hefen. *Edit: Apparently it looks like I made a second tier non IPA influenced sixer.
Only a couple breweries can/bottle beers, so finding this list hard to create is a good thing for the state imho. You could pretty much just buy a La Cumbre mixed four pack, and get some singles of Marble, and I feel that would reflect really well to outsiders.

I was going to throw my two cents into this thread, but felt constrained by the few breweries we have to begin with and then the even fewer that can or bottle. But my list was going to look pretty similar to yours. Probably would have included Marble Red and not Marble Oatmeal Stout and I was having a tough time deciding whether I'd include Malpais or Imperial Java Stout and then I just gave up. haha.

Oh, just that Holy Mountain bottles so far are unusual, sought after, and can be hard to find, which is I think what most people on this site would call a "whale" (Moby Dick reference). The beers are really good, but I don't think fit the OP's intent for his original question. I thought I was stretching things a bit by including BBA Dark Star, which is highly sought after, but at least Fremont does release that every year, and there's a fairly good supply for a few weeks, so it's not too hard to get in season.
