    Omg. Simply the best beer ive had in a WHILE . Anybody else feel the same way?

    Have their hoppy beers ever been sour? I've only been drinking their beers for about 2 or 3 years but I've never once had a sour IPA.

    He's referring to the RR 25th Anniversary beer (that IS supposed to be sour). Which is why the Alpine beer's usually referred to as just "Double Nelson".

    most of their ipas are probably drank way too fresh for infection (if any) to set in. i've half-wondered if a number of their beers are infected and we just don't know it. certainly their ipas have had diacetyl problems in the past, so qc varies. i still love their beers though.

    edit: after seeing bugdoc's post, i see i missed the point. whoops.
