I find this entire scenario to be pretty comical.

I'm driving from Buffalo to Pittsburgh tomorrow afternoon, and I'm excited to make a pit stop in Meadville. Do you guys know if Caution is still on tap?

Also, I have a sixer of Westbrook Gose if anyone has an interest for an in person trade. Looking for any unique beers, or even something like Fat Heads Hop Stalker.

One or two of the GEs may still have Hop Stalker for sale. Thought I saw it in the South Hills earlier this week, but maybe the more visited ones have dried up. That Gose is good though.

Robinson MD still has about a case of hop stalker as well. I love westbrook gose but I need to be at the beach to truly enjoy it

I got to try it last night. Really enjoyed it. I thought i'd never had a single hop amarillo, but someone told me Rogue Yellow Snow is all amarillo. Bar talk, not sure if that's true. Looks like OJ, thought it tasted like orange and citrus, little piney at the end. Hope you enjoy.

Ever have FFF Gumball Head? It's all Amarillo as well. I think it's better than Zombie Dust personally.

Wheat isn't a style I lean toward, but I enjoyed Gumballhead immensely. Don't consciously seek out Amarillo either, but, given this, maybe I should.

No never have, but would like to try.

I only tried Zombie Dust once, out of a plastic cup while camping. Need to revisit that one.

While I believe the type (E) liquor license that places like GE hold permit "happy hour" pricing, I have had no success in imagining a scenario where they might entertain such a practice, mostly because of liability issues. The insistence that you purchase a food item to be allowed a beer seems to me to be the appearance of responsibility (and a profit driver), rather than genuine responsibility. Tuesday, seeking a Duet, I plucked from the register counter a fun-sized chocolate covered pretzel, hardly a potent obstacle to drunkenness.

But, with Whole Foods opening across the street from GE in South Hills (and I believe the two chains have other, proximate and competing location as well [North Hills, etc.?]), I do wonder if, for instance, traffic/sales demonstrably dropped, they might reconsider. Not just looking for Randy's thought on this, but anyone's.

ZD is highly overrated and Nelson is at GE Shadyside with dragons milk reserve except raspberries

Yes I believe it still is, they may have some straggler bottles left too, though not 100% sure.

Rant? Just curious...and bored. I rarely solicit others opinions, but when I do, I like to be specific, as to discourage off topic (uninteresting) conversation.

EDIT: Generally their prices are low enough that to suggest discounting them might be a silly request, but eight bucks for an Alpine makes me feel like I'm at Sharp Edge or Mad Mex.

In my experience all the FFF stuff must be crazy dry hopped because they all fall off very very quickly. Fresh ZD and fresh Gumball and fresh Alpha King are all amazing, but hard to compare fresh to month old.

Gumballhead's gotta be older than Citra. Is that relatively new?

I thought I remembered reading Citra somewhere, but I guess I'm wrong.
