Hardywood Trickey Release

Ya, it's a virtual Trickery ghost town on RBE facebook page, odd enough considering that it just dropped AND it's RVA beer week or whatever. As for releasing it to distro this weekend, I couldn't imagine why they'd want to steal thunder from GBS since they are doing basically a two day release party. They are also probably going to want at least a little fanfare for RPG for the following week and still have to get Rum and BA'd GBS out sometime, so maybe it will be a Black Friday surprise for all of them? I could only imagine the madness at bottle shops around VA with BCBS, GBS variants and Trickery lining the shelves...... seriously, what a nihilistic thought.....

 

Oddly enough, I also remember hearing something about the cases of Trickery going to NoVa and not staying local. I'm not sure who I heard this from I just remember it was while waiting in line. That would suck for RVA locals but kinda makes more sense because you could make the argument that plenty of Trickery was made available to the local market on release day. Who knows...

Cellar thinning was because I didn't want to move all those bottles, now that im 90% settled in its time to build again!

I was able to snag one at Union Market, they received two cases. First few people were able to purchase 2 per. Heard from the a few people that work there that two dudes were waiting for the truck to arrive around 11. Basically got their bottles before it was even in the store.

 

Looks like hampton roads didn't (will not) see any if my local stores are correct. RVA makes obvious sense but interesting it distro'd to NOVA but not here.
