I got this while I was back home, I agree that is really damn good. It flew off the shelves in Western Michigan. and for 19 a six pack wasnt bad either.. Hopefully they decide to reuse this recipe and throw it in a barrel

I might have to say Bomb! is my favorite non-BA stout. Maybe GNVP? Not even sure I've ever had the non-barreled version.

I do also like bomb a lot...

The non-barreled version of GNVP is BBVD (well without the peppers too)

Knew that much. Love BBVD. Easiest drinking 12% beer I've had. But to me the appeal of GNVP is the heat.

They had non-barreled GNVP on draft at the pub's grand opening. It was so much better than the Laird's version, IMO.

I love aged Blackout...and the BA version is tasty as well...just not worth the asking price IMO.

I have quite a few 2013 Blackouts left over if anyone wants one. I know it's not Vanilla Rye but its free and delicious.

And since we're talking delicious old stouts, i had a Ten Fidy 2012, 2014, and 2015 a few weeks ago and the 2012 knocked my shoes and socks off.

Anyone had the BA Ten Fidy? I have not.

Regular blackout with 1-2 years on it is my favorite non-BA stout. I agree that BA Blackout is overpriced, but I go every year to the release despite it so what does that say about me? I think it is a really tasty BA stout and I much prefer it to BBPt5. I think it is a really well run event and worth the ticket price to get some good food, sample some good drafts and listen to live music.

No idea. Went to get the BCS and they were doing a promo with Abyss where you keep the glass, guy asks if I want another before Happy Hour ends so I get another BCS. Total cost: $12.

They probably inadvertently left off a 0 at the end.

They added half off craft drafts a year or two back

That reminds me - someone was speculating on the price of this at House of 1000 Beers a few pages back. They have it for $14.25/bottle. Limit two.
