My guess is they probably just put on one sixtel...I think it was probably a lot of people either 1) not wanting to wait in line saturday and wanting to try it and 2) people wanting to see if it was worth it to wait in line for...but yeah i mean id say 3/4 of my untappd feed was checking it in last night so the hype is definitely real...most people said it was great as well.

Not really sure what all the indignation about taskrabbit is for. I drink plenty of OH and trade for it pretty regularly which is relatively easy since I'm in the city on weekdays. But if I wanted to get Street Green on Saturday I'd have to pay Outerbridge one way and Verranzano the other way plus gas so probably $30 plus an hour each way and 2 more in line on a day I could be hanging out with my kiddies. I'm not going to do it, but sounds like paying someone $40 to grab the beer and pick it up from them on Monday when I'm in the city would be no-brainer, and I'm sure I'm not the only one in that boat.

I think it's fine if you have the means and just can't make the release for whatever reason. Now if you're paying people to double or triple your allotment, that seems uncool. That said, it's almost no different than bringing your non-beer drinking significant other/friend/uncle/etc. and having he/she mule.

Of course, my wife consistently comes with me to releases, but she loves the beer as much as I do, so she's really just buying it for herself rather than just more for me.

Sweet interlocking OH tekus. Will these even last until tomorrow? The ones with Tired Hands were gone in what seemed like an instant.

I've been to the last 3 releases. Each time, I arrived sometime btwn 1:30-2PM and there was no line and plenty of beer to go around. The 4x4 limit makes it possible for those who can't or don't want to get up so early and stand in line on a Saturday to still score on release day.

They just dropped the limits to 12 cans pp due to demand and lower-than-expected yield. This does not assuage my concerns that tomorrow is going to be an absolute disaster, and yet I'll still probably run over there in the morning and wait. I wouldn't mind a 1 4-pack limit to be honest.

Well, "slightly lower yield than expected" certainly doesn't hearten me.

it's going to be a shit show and if last night's draft is any indication, it will be worth it.

After reading this whole thread I've broken it down to this:

Have lots of time and lots of money: go early to OH, buy max allotment.

Have no time and lots of money: Taskrabbit.

Have lots of time and "no" money: go whenever to OH and see whats available, or get a pint.

Have no time and no money: an OH beer release should be the last thing on your mind.

I myself have defied this and am in the limited time and limited money boat, I'm curious to see how it works out lol...

Too bad they didn't lower to 1 or 2 4-packs.

Yeah @Tbub18 description of Street Green is pretty dead on. Fruity resin hop bomb. Tasting nice off the canning line today.

And btw - don't park at McDonalds please. They have spoken to OH about it. Not a huge deal, but just try to be courteous.

This. Hopefully the masses who will descend upon OH tomorrow from near and far will respect the neighborhood and the geople at OH who create such great beer and enable days like tomorrow.

No, don't drink in line. Check the first post in this thread, it has answers to this and many other questions.

On an unrelated note, drinking a can of Mosaic I had stashed away. Lost some of its hoppy goodness, but still drinking great.

Per neckbeard line rules, I have plopped down my lawn chair at door. Going to go home and come back later. Thanks!
