Who is the illustrator? Reminds me of MAD magazine.

Louis-Michel Carpentier. He worked on Tintin and some other famous Belgian comics. The character in all of these labels is Poje and he comes from Carpentier's series "Du Cûté de Chez Poje" which is about Poje's pub in Brussels.

Yeah, it's not super obvious. Everyone's still getting used to this new software.

Obviously the first label "La Gueuze du Poje" was made especially in honor of the character.

Loerik is 1998, the others are probably later 80's/early 90's. The character first came out in 86 or so.

I have a set of coasters that Carpentier did for Cantillon at home that might have dates on them. I'll check when I get home.

what is official, Jean told me and others, I guess that is official enough no? He also mentioned however, that there may be distribution to pubs as well (kind of like zwanze day), so also to the US.

I was at Cantillon today and saw something that put a smile on my face.

They also still had bottles of Zwanze 2011 for on site consumption for 14 euros which was a nice surprise.

What's really ridiculous is that wall of bottles is at least 2 if not 3 layers deep.
