The reason the police were called was because someone called and reported people drinking in line. Someone was mad they forgot beer.

 

CONFIRMATION BIAS IN FULL EFFECT, I've been going since March or so (let's turn that into a pissing contest...), but I bet most of the people there earlier than 9:00 were actually not regulars.

 

Anyway .. I went to singlecut .. Highly recommended brewery great ipas

 

I don't understand the insistence on letting this turn into as big a shit show as we can.

FFS it was earlier than 10 in the morning and most of you were driving.

 

They have lowered limits day of at other releases, at least once I know of.

 

Well said IMO it should of been 4 each if you make it congrats if not better luck next time. I appreciate the hemline more people out but

 

You hit it on the head. I haven't been able to smoke since I was 20 due to work but I have no problem with it BUT BE RESPECTFUL. People don't wanna smell it . Time and place for everything

 

Just out of curiosity, I got there in line around 9:30 but left around 10:30 once the guy told us that chances would be slim for the rest of us in the back. For anyone else who got to line around 9:30, how long did it take for you to get some cans and leave? I'm just curious how long the wait would have been for me had I stayed...

Everyone shoulda known it woulda been a shit show release.. The solution get there earlier than you have in the past and avoid chance of getting shut out or lowered limits..

Even after the lowered limit from 4 to 3 myself and a group decided to make the 2hr trek and planned accordingly by getting there just past 7:30... Guess what we got what was mentioned as the initial limits and had a great time in line sipping(in McD cups) to past the time. And we were happily back on the road by 11!

 

The thing is just be polite and be aware of surroundings. I was drunk by 930... I drank in line with friends I didn't act like a 18 year old at a strip club. I had my stouts and shut the fuck up lol

What time did they sell out? My buddy left the line at 12:30 because he was towards the end and they said they weren't going to be able to accommodate the whole line. Then hours later there are 140 cases? Pretty weak

They tweeted they had 140 cases left at 11:50am - so 40 minutes before your friend left the line, not hours later. Not sure when they sold out though, but some people in this thread got shut out, and many others towards the end of the line only got 1 can each.
