Eeeeyup. Still curious what other bottle shops want for it. It's given that GE's going to be cheaper, I'm more interested in the apples-to-apples comparison. But yeah...$14.25.

With every public Utopias pour in Pittsburgh, Allegheny county collects $1.40-$2.00 on two ounces or less of beer.

I haven't yet but there should be no worry about bottle bombs, they are in champagne bottles. I'm not sure what the FG of their saisons are so no clue what they will attenuate to in the bottle but you shouldn't have anything to worry about. If I got a saison that didn't pour about 50-60% head I'd be concerned, it's a style that should have a big fluffy rocky head that lasts and be very highly carbed.

Thank you for understanding the style. I will admit that the beer is more carbonated than I wanted, but it's definitely not unusual for the style.

No problem, it's tough to tell where carbination will end up when bottle conditioning especially with brett involved. Im still dialing that in myself and all mine have finished 1.002 or lower before bottling. Pittsburgh is lacking in this style commercially with distibuted examples and local as well(your's and Lavery Liopard Oir are the only real bottled examples around) I usually prefer the higher carbed 3.3vol+ versions.

Went to beers of the burgh last night. Made a few interesting observations. 1.) At the beginning, pretty much no lines at any brewery except Brew Gentlemen had about 50 in line, and continued to have the longest line the rest of the night. I guess the masses are aware. 2.) Dancing Gnome is legit. Both their IPA and Smoked Coffee Stout were great. 3.) Conny Creek is one I had never heard of, but was pretty surprised by them. Other than that, a lot of mediocrity. 4.) Bloom Brew is still making absolutely horrible beer. I really wish one of his friends would tell him the truth.

Anyone open a BA gratitude lately? I just opened a bottle and it was completely flat. Not even a trace of carb.

Heading to Monroeville this weekend up from Maryland and want to hit best bottle shops for singles as well as taking the wife and adult son out for dinner with great beer list and good food. Willing to drive about half hour for bottle shop or dinner. From a little research looks like possibly nearby bottle shops would be D's, Giant Eagle, and wasnt sure if Dad's pub and Gateway Grill sell singles or 4/6 packs to go.
Was wondering would better option be to take a drive out to Fatheads or Voodoo for dinner and hit bottle shops above or take the drive to House of 1000 Beers and get recommendations for dinner in Monroeville or any other recommendations people have.
    Thanks in advance.

I went to Hoof Hearted for the can release today. I have an extra 4 pack of Sidepipin', a farmhouse IPA, and Barely a Beginner, a hoppy pale, if anyone is up an IP local trade. PM if interested.
