This is kind of a bad argument. People won't change, if anything lax policy making by OH will allow more to take advantage. OH has a responsibility to its neighbors for every one of its patrons, and if they are fighting, drinking in public, etc it reflects only on OH.

Don't let this jealous neckbeard worry you. It's awesome, had one earlier during the Steelers game.

I am a clean shaven guy who left on Saturday with my three 4-packs. Street Green is an okay beer, but I don't think it's as good as most of Other Half's "regular" IPAs (certainly not as good as most of Trillium's, and that's coming from a New Yorker).

Maybe I'm still just angry about the line/event situation.

I've had Citra, Cascade, AGE, Green Diamonds, Hop Showers, and EL Dorado, and I think Street Green is my favorite so far. Maybe it's because I know how big of a shitshow/ordeal the release was and all of the hype surrounding it, but whatever, it tastes perfect to me.

I'm with you. As much as I resent the fact that I had to wait so long to get some, Street Green is a really awesome beer and probably my favorite Other Half beer to date.

for me the Street Green falls somewhere below Mosaic and AGE. Maybe same as Nelson and Citra.

I think you guys are all crazy.

Either way, I can't wait for the next single-hop can release.

I've never had the pleasure of having Mosaic in cans. Only on tap once in the tasting room. Really hope they re-release it relatively soon.

I really don't want to agree with the people saying this is their favorite OH IPA, I might have to. I mainly don't want to agree since we will either never see it again or experience the second coming of that turnout. I hope we can see more beers with a similar yeast profile where it's just complete hop juice where we avoid the Street Green name but get similar awesome beer.

If it's not the best, it's in the realm of Mosaic, Amarillo, Citra, and Galaxy for me.

Really looking forward to see what they will do with Simcoe.

@Kanger Any discussion of releasing any dual hopped beer or will they just continue to do single hop with either AGE/HS/GD?

Street Green is quite reminiscent of OH Mosaic with a bit of a heftier body. I think this beer is among the best beers I've tried from them (And I've had over 30) but not quite sure I'd pick this over Mosaic, Citra or AGE. I've only had one can thus far after all but I don't think I'd ever wait in that line for it again...especially when I know I can walk in around 12-1 on most release days and pick up cans with ease

Not that I heard of. I would expect a lot more bottle releases coming up though in the Winter.

It is hard not to just get it in your head the Street Green is good just because it was a pain the arse to procure, but I think it might be the best can they've done. I've had every can they have put out, and almost all the tap only beers, and this stuff is great. For me it is like you take the best attributes of Galaxy Showers (a really nice beer), OH Amarillo, and Pulse Wave. I had in my head OH Mosaic might be better, but would need to reassess next Mosaic release.

Kanger any word on the date of this event?

Not sure they make galaxy showers but they do make Hop Showers, also Pulse Wave is a Grimm beer.

I was mentioning beers with the profiles I was getting. Galaxy Showers is from Noble in CA, I used that because I had it last week and it was very good (OH Galaxy was disappointing IMO). Yes, Pulse Wave is Grimm but was really good and the finish is very similar to SG.

Gotcha. I agree Galaxy was a little underwhelming, hate to say it but so was Amarillo (IMO).
