There are problems with all glasses:

-goblet (loses carbonation fast; oxidation is fast; temperature rises fast)
-pint glass (is it just me or do you rush when you use a pint?)
-snifter (same as goblet; but also has poor nucleation points)
-tulip (looks 'beer geeky'; so much variance in size/shape that any problems above may apply)

I have been using the Rodenbach Grand Cru glass for a while, even though I have all types of glassware. It has laser etched nucleation points on the bottom, and it looks less showy than a tulip.

I'm a fan of smaller glassware. I love my Sierra Nevada .3L Luettich Balloon / Tulip. It's the perfect size. I usually use this one for my day to day drinking, but especially for stouts, barleywine, strong ales etcetera

I also love my 10oz Firestone Walker Nonic. That's my go to IPA glass or anything light-bodied

Our new RASTAL Craft Master Two design is also available now!
Try both! Try the V-flow versus the X-flow depending on your beer.

Nonic glass unless it is a Pilsner or strong (ABV) beer. But I will use paper cups if that is the only thing around. However, there are times I drink straight from the bottle. Usually the beer is a Bud, Coors or the like.

this is my go-to glass right now...is there a consensus on what to call this one? i'd consider it something between a snifter and tulip

Is that a tiny piece of dirt on the front of the glass? Such a perfect pic, otherwise!

That looks like the Bruges from Crate & Barrel, as for a more generic name I'd go with tulip even though it doesn't flare out.

This would be my go-to if I had to choose just one. It's quite large and can handle any style. I use this when I don't have the proper glass with the exception of Duvel tulip for big stouts and the DFH buttplug glass for IPAs.

The Tulip is my glass of choice. The Stemless Wineglass is second.

I own 80+ glasses (not counting the ridiculous amount of pint glasses) and as much as I love #properglassware, my favorite glass is my nonic pint glass or my generic tulip with no printing.....main reason, I am lazy and can throw them in the dishwasher. Hand washing a CBS or Crooked Stave glass can be extremely stressful, just waiting for the day I accidentally break one of my beauties.
