How did the release turn out I hear they are doing a Hoof Hearted/Guided By Voices collaboration beer

 

Ended up being Coffee Mom Jeans & Maple Pepper Mom Jeans. The coffee was good, but I loved the maple pepper.

Sidepipin' was great (bought 2 4packs), I thought Barely a Beginner was mediocre though.

 

Oh yeah, I know. Got there around 12:40PM today. LOVE the coffee Mom Jeans. Never had the base. I really liked Barely a Beginner, but cans sold out in 50 minutes so we missed out.

 

We arrived at around 11:30. They opened on time so I was able to grab my 2 4-pk's of the collab and sidepipin'. We tried both out and they were pretty good, but none of us were really blown away by them by any means. I liked sidepipin' better out of the two, myself.

Another beautiful day at Hoof though! We had a really nice share going on, we stayed until about 6pm. Was able to try some Dark Lord, which really was amazing, thanks to some fellow Clevelanders we met there. Many other goodies being passed around as well.

I still think Hoof has the best event going on right now... Even if you are so-so on the beer, the people and atmosphere is just amazing. Bring a chair, blanket, whatever... Just chill with new/old friends and have a good time.

Sucks winter is coming up, have to enjoy these last (known) cannings before the ground is covered in snow.

 

Agreed. Hoof f'ing rules. If the weather is nice I can't think of a better way to spend a Sunday. It's worth the hour and a half trip down from Cleveland. Great beer, great people, great location, great atmosphere. What's not to like?

 

I'll be in Dayton area this Thursday/Friday. Is there any chance I can get any Hoof anywhere or is it like TG here in Iowa, and be all gone?

 

Next canning is 11/15, 12-5pm.... Dragonsaddle Triple IPA!

Also will be selling bottles of Saizzurp Guava/Brett C in 750ml bottles.

On Draft: Dragonsaddle, Sidepipin', Barley a Beginner, Mom Jeans and Fabergege.

1 case limit of Dragonsaddle, 2 bottle limit of Saizzurp. Taco truck will be present again.

Whoops! Typo... It is 11/15.

 

There is a shop in Centerville called Ollie's Place that goes to the releases and brings back cases. They were selling Sidepipin' today. It will most likely be sold out by the time you are in town. They also currently have Fruit Saxx on tap. It may last. Follow their tap list on Beer Menus.

Other than that, you would need to swing by Columbus to find places that have HH on tap.

 

Ah! We met you guys there! Our friends were the ones pouring Dark Lord. Yeah, Hoof Hearted is such an awesome place and the staff and owners are such cool people too. Can't wait for this Sunday!

 

Man, the only sunday I will be around is the 22nd, I really need to learn to schedule my trips better.
