Had the pleasure of meeting the Grimm's last night at Mekelburg's and had such a great time. Great food and great beer. These two brewers are extremely passionate about the craft and art of making beer and can't wait to see what they do next. Hopefully they have some better luck finding a brewery spot!

Purple Prose is amazing, most complex sour from them. Get on it.

Any chance you are in NYC, if so, where did you get?

A few bars got hit with it. I tried it as Ginger Man. Bottles also got to a few places.
I recommend looking on BeerMenus and Untappd.

Has anyone seen other bottle shops who have gotten purple prose? I'm training in from Newark and the shorter the tide the better

Astoria Bier and Cheese had them. You may want to call Milk & Hops to see if they got some in too.

one unfortunate side effect of grimm's recent success: it's getting harder to find grimm beers now.

Yea, I'm thoroughly not enjoying this.

Very happy for Grimm, not happy that I actually have to travel to find their beers now. I used to be able to get them so easily!

Same, I'm happy for them too. Great to see growth happening so quickly, and they deserve it.

Though, I've pretty much given up trying to find their beer because of this. Having to stop by to every beer store in every borough (that beermenus claims has something, when in fact they don't) just for a single bottle of something... is just too much of a hassle. I can't handle that with my work schedule. Hopefully this changes...
