@andreizm : Glad that we have someone that flies more than me (about 82k this year so far).

Yesterday was one of my more trying travel days... 6 hours of delays on my original 9am flight, with a new 20 minute delay coming every 20 minutes, so it wasn't like I could just book a different flight or go chill out at the bar/lounge. Then after 6 hours the flight cancelled. Thankfully I ended up getting one of the last seats from Charlotte to Milwaukee (the seat went away online as I was booking it), but going through PHL with a 4 hours layover, getting in at midnight.

Finally land at MKE at midnight and there's no one around at the Hertz desks to pick up my car, so end up renting with Avis instead which takes a couple minutes since I didn't have a reservation. Get to the hotel and they're full and I've been walked. There's literally no one else in Milwaukee with availability so I have to just take the walk and come back the next night (tonight). Then on top of that I end up getting a $50 parking ticket because where I parked evidently is residential parking overnight (though not exactly signed as such).

Was a pretty... interesting... day. All in the life of a traveler I guess. Still had worse

 

I'll be there at Session A too,...but I can't stick around, have to catch a flight back.

 

that reminds me, i need to try coffee in an IPA..

Did Macadamia and coconut Black Tuesday and it was fantastic!

That sounds like something out of Planes, Trains and Automobiles. That continuously postponed flight stuff is the worst, since don't know when to cut your losses and switch to something else.

 

I can only stay for part of the barrel house event.

 

If they ever do it again, Carton made one that I thought was exceptional. The Jersey guys might be able to tell you more about it, all I know is it's called Yirgacheffe
