It will be the highest abv beer for me to date. I used to love Wild Turkey, so, not anticipating any problems.

I'm surprised I haven't seen Schells Snowstorm yet. As much as I like all the super limited, barrel aged, beer must haves, I love being able to find a beer like Snowstorm that I don't have to fight over or call local bottle shops to see if they have any left in stock.

Plus I know it's a beer I can look forward to drinking all winter long

    Founders Imperial Stout.

Though you could walk into a GOOD bottle shop and a lot of them will likely be sitting right up front. They are all good my friend

A "good" Winter beer is a wide open field for interpretation.

Not sure what part of MO you live in but Southern Tier - Krampus is pretty darn good (IMO) and according to the S.T. website, it should be available in the St. Louis area.

    (Scaldis) Bush De Noël
    St. Bernardus Christmas
    Delirium Noel
    Troegs Mad Elf
Port Brewing - Santa's Little Helper
    Fantôme Spéciale De Noel
    Corsendonk Christmas
    Southern Tier 2XMAS
    Ommegang Adoration

Boulevard Nutcracker Ale should be pretty available since it's brewed in your state.

Then, of course, is the notorious release of Hop Slam.

A case of Narwhal and a case of Founders Breakfast Stout. Supplement as necessary/available with BCBS and Founders Imperial Stout.

.....if it seems like I drink a lot of stouts during the Winter, I do. I also drink a lot of stouts in the Summer. It just so happens that I have to buy them in the Winter..... :grinning:
