Full Sail Black Gold (b1)-> How is it drinking?

    I was looking for reviews on Black Gold and couldn't find recent reviews for batch 1. Anyone know how this is drinking? Thanks!

    I have been trying to get through some of my cellared stuff and I think I put one of these in my fridge. I will have to check. Course it is 88 degrees here so I will have to talk myself into opening it, if it is in fact B1. I would like to know the status as well.

    Sorry. It was a 2010 Top Sail BBA Imp Porter. If anyone is interested this is damn good.

    Just popped the bottle tonight and wrote up a review for those interested. Decent but nothing life changing.

    the info on the page for this beer is incorrect. There was an 06 batch, and I believe an 05 as well. Opened up an 06 about a year ago, and it was among the favorites of the tasting.

    Drinking a 2011 Black Gold right now. Absolutely love it. Bourbon is still very big.
