Take out of state road trips to acquire different beers.

To try a beer from every state in the US

To come up with the perfect brewing name so I can make labels for fun. For homebrew.

More unrealistic...to turn my homebrew pro and have a brewery even at a mininal size would be nice. But obviously the issue is of $ like with anything. Im not scared. Ill take the risk. Its just my confidence in consistency isn't that high and the $ start up. So ill just hone my brewing down to the same every batch and maybe in a decade ill see. Havent done it all that much so far. But its good to dream. (Side note what i have brewed is a bit odd for ex: a 100% gluten free citrus gose. That one was odd and smelled like methane, that's wat i mean by consistent. I didnt even drink it lol)

    Same here. Exactly the same.

I find this to be my most enduring goal.

    Here's a good start

Also, check out RBE - Richmond Beer Folks on FB. Used to be Richmond Beer Elite (RBE) until they had the good sense to rename it as something a little less, well, elitist....

If you are moving to/near Richmond, than you'll certainly find a plethora of beer opportunities with the releases, events and tappings - and that's just the breweries. Factor in Cap Ale, Sedona and Commercial Tap House and BAM! No reason to go beer hungry EVER.

I think you may want to add Spencer to that list.

    1. Take a beercation across country. A good, long, relaxing one.

    2. Get into the science behind beer.

    3. Make up my mind if I want to keep trying new beers (bigger financial hit, as there are fair number of so-so ones I try), or just enjoy what I know I like.

    No beer goals or objectives.

I think that will over complicate craft beer. And it doesn't sound great to set drinking goals. Sure there are beers I want more of and new beers to try, but it won't change my life.

If you have a big boil pot, like 10 gallons+, try brew in a bag. It's a good transition with requires minimal costs except a proper bag and that's like $8. brew days are faster and easier. There are some limitations but not its not quality.

I'd like to try every Pumpkin beer, and identify the best (to me). Obviously trying all is impossible because they are seasonal, the beer selection changes each year, and many beers have limited distribution. But I'll give it a shot. The sour one I had last night was a drain pour though, and definitely wasn't the whale I was looking for.

Find my favorite beer. I have one now, but assume I will find one better. It's a dirty job but someone has to do it.
