Hope this is in the right place. Anyone else experiencing some unusual delivery times lately? The last two boxes I have received arrived at 8:20pm, and most recently a staggering 11:40pm. This could present a major problem as we get closer to winter and these boxes sit outside overnight. Is the only option to have it held at a retail location for pickup?
Could it be with Christmas over a month away people are starting to buy gifts online and therefore more packages to be delivered during the day?
Both my last two boxes from FedEx have been odd. One showed up at 9pm, the other I don't know when the hell it came. Our driver has a habit of just dropping the box outside of our garage without knocking, regardless of the time. I last checked at 9pm and it wasn't there. When I went out for work the next morning the box was just sitting there and they still hadn't updated the tracking to reflect that it had been dropped.
I deal with UPS and FedEx daily, and if they have things going on in their personal lives and need to be out of work by a certain time, sometimes they start the day a bit earlier to get out a bit earlier. Maybe this?
